I have UNfollowed a cousin-in-law on Facebook.

For no apparent reason, other than her sincere belief in what she was saying, she posted that, "like it or not, Donald Trump always speaks truth.  All Democrats lie!"

For that reason I stopped short of unfriending her and simply chose to not see any of her posts.

She and I have been round and round on such things before.   She believes everything she hears on Fox News.

She is a retired school teacher and considers herself an "intellectual".

I consider her a cock-a-doodle-loony-bird.

She also prefers to attend "charismatic" church services, including ones that preach that alien beings are controlling us.

I'm not sure if my sister is as rabid as that, but I have basically stopped communicating with her.

I don't need that s**t in my life; I don't care if it's family.

Smart move.  That is just too extreme and basically she called you a liar.

In case you missed it -
"Live at the Palace"
Ben Platt sings the Judy Garland part and Cynthia Erivo sings the Barbra Streisand part.

I care for Ben Platt no more than BK cares for page seven. I just don’t understand the appeal.

Starting another British serial, this one based on one of my all-time favorite novels, George Eliot’s Daniel Deronda. Romola Garai shines as Gwendolen Harleth.

I don't know a lot of his work, but he was fabulous as Leo Frank in the Broadway revival of Parade.

But does the tenor get the girl?      :)

Ha! In the production my wife sang in, it was a mezzo soprano who got the girl. In other productions it will be a countertenor.

My niece's late father was one of those "conservative Christians," but he died before tRump ran in 2015/2016, so he's out of the picture.

Right now that seems like a sad but good thing for your niece.

Yes. He could never really accept her being gay.

On the basis of the cast recording alone, he sounded far less subtle than Brent Carver. Everyone on that recording, in fact, sounded as if each number were being played for America's Got Talent. Strictly IMO.

I am looking forward to Brown's new musical, Midnight in the Garden f Good and Evil, except for the fact that Rob Ashford is directing. What a loser he is.
