Slow news day.

We have cloud cover right now so the sun isn't beating us down.  That will come later....with more temps in the 90's.

I watched a few more of the TONY clips and didn't like much of what I saw.....I really liked the GATSBY put together.....but I just don't think the story lends itself to becoming a musical - but I have been wrong before.

And will be again.

It must have been!  I spend my evening surfing youtube looking for musical numbers from a variety of folks, including Brent Barrett.

My favorite was a duet he did with Rebecca Luker from "Brigadoon".

I was in bed by 9:30 and slept well until 1:30. I then took several pills. The remainder of the night was a lot of pains and aches that one muscle relaxer, one painkiller, and one Tylenol did little to help.

So far, today has been mostly frustrating: I had no internet and my phone had no service. Both are with Spectrum, but the television was working. I don't know if the problem was inside the apartment or with the cable to the building, but after 15 or so minutes, after I had unplugged and plugged back ion the modem and the router, everything was back up. Then, while I was getting my oatmeal and coffee, on e of the wheels on the cart I use to tote things around the apartment fell off, so I need to deal with that this morning. I'm just happy that this didn't happen while I was pushing it with a hot cup of coffee; there could have been a mess.
