Two lamps top value 200. This one isn't moving like the others - however, 700, so far the lowest price in the auction.

Floor bidders just cannot stand to let anything go at a reasonable price. It's a game.

Cary Grant should be at the auction to liven things up.

And here is where the ticket that DR JANE sent me ended up.....right next to my lump of coal from the debris field.

BK, you're getting close to a 139,000 posting millstone, if I'm reading correctly.

Was it on That Girl or maybe Lucy where one of them thought she was bidding 2 dollars but was actually bidding 2,000, and I believe hilarity ensued?

The real insanity are the window cards - none especially rare - eight Kennedy center Sondheim show posters 5K.

The floor bidders are disgusting - they simply will not let anyone have a decent price. I wonder if any of them will own up to it on Facebook.

A Faberge gilt silver box in the shape of a pool table just went for - high estimate was 18K - went for 55K and an 11K Buyer's Premium. Who HAS that kind of money.

From DR George:

So, when I was getting dressed to go, I just randomly picked out one of my Hawaiian shirts to wear since I have so many, and it was totally appropriate for the event! ;D

If you hadn't said this I would have been shocked ;D

From DR John:

Quote
The doctor thinks it's a pinched nerve in my neck. So he did nothing.

And I complained that I was only sent for PT.  I was also going to have an MRI, except I had no way of getting to the test.

When I finally had a ride for the test the doctor said that I waited too long and opted not to do the MRI.

Why?

I couldn't get a ride as we were new to the area and I didn't have friends yet and Keith was working hard at a new job.  I wanted drugs to go into an MRI machine and would have needed Keith to drive me.

As for the doctor taking away the order, likely because I was beginning to improve with PT.

DR Jrand, we enjoyed seeing the photos.  Keith was especially interested in your lump of coal.

Oh, then that's a GOOD thing that he'd taken away the order!

It's too bad SOME of the Sondheim stuff couldn't have been kept together to create a museum or some permanent display, but I guess it's all about the almighty dollar.

I would have purchased a hard copy of the auction catalog, but it doesn't appear that they created one.

Or if they did, it was not made publicly available.
