If i were seriously into notation software, I think I would invest in a stream deck.

This morning, after kitty cleanup, I will listen to "Some People" several times through the headphones and settle down to work. Yesterday was a lost day.

DR Elmore, are you only listening to the original for this project, or that one plus other recordings?

Original cast; Ethel Merman all the way! There may be listens to other recordings of the vaudeville pastiche, but for Rose, only Merman.

On the spur of the moment off the top of my head to coin a phrase, I decided to go to the store.

I gathered everything together - grabbed my keys and put on my hat.

And halfway to the car I realized I hadn't put on any shoes.

Rodzinski, have you seen the Japanese movie Departures? I cannot recommend it enough. Here's a link to one of Roger Ebert's reviews:

Tod:

I like to listen to folk music from folks like The Chad Mitchell Trio, The Limelighters, or is that The Lamplighters.....The Kingston Trio, and others of that ilk.

Everyone except Joan Baez who irritates me to a ridiculous degree.

Don’t sleep on the Brothers Four!

My kids love their song “Blue Water Line.”

Lately when I need to relax I put on the music of Lobo.

“I’d Love You to Want Me”
“Me and You and a Dog Named Boo”
“Big Red Kite”
Many others…

For anyone following the saga - the new actress was especially adept at following direction and blocking and her character was en pointe.....without wearing pointe shoes.

The actress in the hospital left a message that I found when I got home.  She has been released but she is on two weeks home restriction so she has to leave the show.

I immediately offered the other part to the pointe actress, though she has yet to accept.

That's great about the new actress being able to follow direction and blocking.  Hopefully, she accepts quickly!

I wanted a refrigerator like DR GEORGE has, but it's too big to fit in my refrigerator space......

I had to take out cabinets next to and above my old fridge to be able to fit in the new fridge...but I had the cabinets to remove.  That's not always an option.
