That helped.  My bad eye was done first so maybe they will both heal at the same time.  I think we are also both more sensitive to sensations and changes.

I had Toric lenses implanted in both eyes and I think that makes a difference. The brain has to adjust!

Keith had Toric lenses and I expected to have them.  I was surprised that I didn't need them.  The explation made sense to me and explained a bit of confusion regarding my astigmatism.

Oh, and as usual Keith adjusted very quickly.

Even though I see better now then I did wearing contacts, I keep thinking I need to take my contacts out to give my eyes a rest

It will be three weeks on Friday, so I guess a month since my first one.  The doctor told me it might take me several months before I feel comfortable again.

I must say that I am quite burned out on the election news. But Trump’s blunders are so laughable that I don’t want to miss any of them. I love it that he thinks he’s better looking than Kamala Harris. I realize that beauty is subjective, but what criteria is he using? Who has the most unruly hair? Who smears everyone around him vs who smiles and laughs more and projects warmth toward others? What’s next?

Not surprisingly after many years of wearing contacts. I often reached up to adjust my glasses, only to find I wasn’t wearing any.

It’s good he let you know. Many patients expect too much too soon and are frustrated or worried when it takes a while.

I often do that, or reach to push up my glasses that were always falling off my face.  At night I want to take my glasses off to read, only instead I need to put on reading glasses.

It’s good he let you know. Many patients expect too much too soon and are frustrated or worried when it takes a while.

He said that after I complained about my right eye.  Yes, no comment that I shouldn't be feeling what I feel only people heal at different rates.

Watching the rest of an excellent but horribly uncomfortable movie called Not a Pretty Picture. Director Martha Coolidge was raped as a college student. She writes a play about it, and the movie is about staging the play and the actors' responses to their parts as well as the student audiences' responses. So, very meta, very exorcizing, very brutal and fascinating.

I started it right before leaving for Louisville and couldn't take it then. Let's see if I can finish it now.
