And here it is. The post-Labor Day morning that has always represented the change of seasons and the start of so many things...regardless of my age, where I'm living, and what I'm doing.

Tonight and tomorrow are my nights to play the Spitfire rehearsals.

That will be interesting and fun.

TOD:

My very favorite ice cream flavor is Vanilla.  It's soothing by itself, and yet it combines with many other delightful things...chocolate/caramel/hot fudge syrups, for instance.  I can put chopped pecans or walnuts on it.  I can also add a  liqueur to brighten up a nice meal.

I am also partial to coffee ice cream.

My favorite brand is Haagen-Dazs but am also partial to the less expensive Blue Bunny brand.

Others I enjoy: Neapolitan, Strawberry and Peach.  An occasional Pistachio intrigues me, as well.

I am expecting Lamar Livingston and his brother Stuart sometime this week -- maybe today -- to give my shrubbery a good pruning.

Just for fun this afternoon, I'm watching the ASMAC Zoom discussion on Finale and Dorico.

I'll probably end up taking advantage of the "crossgrade" - the catchword of the day - to acquire Dorico.

Edit:  I originally typed AMPAS.  Oy!

“Doctor Livingston, I presume” was a preposterous song Ethel sang in Happy Hunting.

Tuesday morning greetings!

And here it is. The post-Labor Day morning that has always represented the change of seasons and the start of so many things...regardless of my age, where I'm living, and what I'm doing.

For me it’s the start of my radiation therapy.  As Green Day says, “Wake Me Up When September Ends.”

Today, my sister's handyman is stopping by to give me an estimate on what it would cost to cover the exposed boards in my kitchen, and maybe a couple of other things (if I'm able to remember what they were ::) ).

Good luck it isn't too bad and that you remember all that needs doing.  The handyman might also have suggestions.

My mother occassionally made Welsh Rarebit for herself.  I don't know why but the rest of us weren't interested in eating it.

Well, I didn't know what to expect, but it was more than I expected. ::) Not a lot more, but he is a local person and an independent business owner, so I'm all for supporting that.
