I am late for my appointment to eat my cheese pizza.

Mmm...cheese pizza.  I think a trip to Costco's deli is in order!

So, back in July, I ordered Brian Tyler Cohen's first book, Shameless: Republicans' Deliberate Dysfunction and the Battle to Preserve Democracy.  It was just released and it arrived a couple of weeks ago:

I love Jamie Raskin.

Well.....last night the show went well....I can only credit the HHW vibes.  I didn't feel like lying on the theeder floor and staring at the ceiling instead of the stage.

Excellent :)

I just dozed off in a chair for 45 minutes. Not sure how I am going to make it through this work day. But the boss is out today and tomorrow, so I must soldier on.

I'm up, I'm up - too much noise outside - either the house their attempting to build across the street, but more likely yet more tree trimming crap.

Yep, tree trimming next door and most of what they're trimming is currently in MY front yard. They best clean that up pronto.

Joshie may stop by this morning with "Have an Egg Roll, Mr Goldstone," and I will give him "Small World," which is quite interesting: Merman's orchestration for the song on the original Broadway cast album is not the orchestration in the band parts or published vocal score.

That is interesting.

On the subject of GYPSY -

This was the duet Patti LuPone did with Randy Rainbow just before the 2020 election.

And it seems to have worked - Donald lost that election!

This is pretty funny, about programming for regional theaters dealing with their budgets

"YOUR FAVORITE REGIONAL THEATER’S (HONEST) SEASON ANNOUNCEMENT!"
https://www.mcsweeneys.net/articles/your-favorite-regional-theaters-honest-season-announcement

A highlight is their dog-friendly approach :)
"If you would like to purchase a subscription package for your dog, they are welcome! No crate is required; they are free to eat, bark, and scratch, and they will honestly not be that different from many of our current patrons. Please have dogs refrain from cell phone usage, taking photographs, or unwrapping candy during the performance."

That's funny! :D
