Well......my cousin Lita was walking down her ramp outside her front door, carrying a basket of laundry she had done for an older lady she takes care of.

She fell.  Her husband was backing his van out of the driveway and didn't see her and ran her over.....breaking both her legs.

Three bones in the right leg took surgery to fix.....one bone in the left leg was set normally.

She is out of surgery and doing okay.....

Oh, Jesus! Poor womanm. That must have been really painful. I'm so sorry for her!

On this day in 1966 the high was 101 degrees.

It was also the first day of my last semester in high school.

With every surgery for broken bones I have been extremely grateful I could still walk.  Aside from the pain I know she is suffuring, I feel bad for her.  I hope her casts aren't too high up on her legs.

Yup. The last 10 minutes were great. The rest of the movie had its moments.
