I daresay no one else here will be impacted by the weather situation with Helene. However, local weather people have said this will be one of the most fierce storms in recent memory. I have no idea of how much my area will be impacted, but major flooding is predicted all around me, along with wind damages (especially trees) and the ubiquitous power outages that result.Sigh.I am under a Tropical Cycolone Warning, and a Tornado Warning, until tomorrow morning. And that doesn't begin to cover the possible future.Helene was classified as a Category 4 an hour ago and it had not made landfall. We've gotten more than 6 inches of rain over the past 24 hours, and the storm hasn't made landfall yet.
Today, I learned that the cat was reclaimed by the owner at about 8:00pm last night.
I just realized I don't know if "flyers" or "fliers" is correct in this context.
Had Pad Thai for food.
I'm thinking of opening an online store called Kritzerland Books, Posters, Memorabilia, and Ephemera - A Cozy Store With Fairly-Priced Items That Desire to Go To a Loving Home and Not Dealers. What do you think. I'd need someone to help set up the site itself, but I gather that's not hard these days and I want it built so I can upload and do everything myself. It would take a couple of months to photograph and price things, but I have so much stuff and rather than toss, for example, complete runs of really good film magazines and such, I think there are people who'd be interested in such things.
MichaelG is approaching post #500. Should we maybe congratulate the first half-a-millstone, or is that going too far?
Tots With Goop - that's the title of my next novel.
Or I could go to Susan Egan's.
