We're busy tracking the progress of Hurricane Milton as my Dad lives in Sarasota. His place made it through Ian OK a couple years ago, but Milton could be stronger and make landfall closer to Sarasota.

I'm up, I'm up - despite the pounding and generator noise from the property down and across the street, which began at eight, I do believe I slept for - drum roll - twelve hours.
Anyway ( if any stills cares, or ever did) After the photo taking we went to the coffee hour so the Vixter could make the rounds and show off Vixson.
They were greeted with appropriate oohs and aaahs and we left some 20 minutes later very happy
God bless them, we were met by 4 of their high school friends who took over all the heavy lifting and decorating and left me to pickup the fresh food trays and prepare the food table
I do love those kids
