I’m off to bed. 4:30 will come awfully early.

I am glad you will get home tonight, DR Jane - albeit quite late.

DR JANE's experience reminds me of a line I said in Prisoner of Second Avenue:

"Somewhere there is plane flying over the Atlantic with people serving themselves because those two broads never leave their apartment!"

Late entry for the TOD.

Available on DVD and maybe streaming somewhere....SON OF FURY from FOX in 1942.

Wonderful performances by Tyrone Power and Gene Tierney....but especially for the supporting performances of George Sanders and Frances Farmer.

Unusual story about Kecia Lewis, Tony winner in the Broadway show HELL'S KITCHEN, leveling accusations against Patti LuPone (now in the Broadway show THE ROOMMATE)

"Kecia Lewis Says Patti LuPone Committed 'Microaggressions' Against Hell's Kitchen. The Roommate Producers Respond"
Lewis' comments came after the sound design for the Alicia Keys jukebox musical was changed for being "too loud."

This sounds like a nothingburger to me. ::)

The police have suspended the search for my friend....he is still considered a missing person.

Now, on a more pleasant note: Ann and Jen just left after giving me an hour of their time to assemble my new table and remove the old one. It's quite sturdy and handsome.

That's very nice, Larry!  Congrats!

Started watching the Met's production of Glass's Satyagraha. The movie sic is hypnotic.

If that's the one that was shown on PBS, I recorded that and really enjoyed it.

I could never get into Einstein on the Beach (I think it was too minimalist for me), but for some reason I love both Akhnaten and Satyagraha.

I hate autocorrect. Three times it tried to change "in act two" to "I'm fact two. "

How rude! >:(

It's my old Kindle.

That reminds me...I misplaced my older Kindle and I need to find it.  I have no idea where I put it, but I know I have it in my house.

Got The Warriors from the library today.

I'm debating if I want to get it.  I probably will, but not right away.

I got it on sale.  The list price is $19.95, and there was a sale to bring it down to $16.78, and then there was ANOTHER 30% off coupon through Amazon, so that the total (before tax and with free shipping) was only $11.75!

One of the more eye-opening comments from Quincy Jones in an obit was when he talked about going danving with Marlon Brando, who, according to Jones, slept with James Baldwin and Marvin Gaye as well as Richard Pryor.

Oh, my! ;)

Sorry sometime “ too loud” just means it’s too damn LOUD!!!

Exactly!  And can someone really commit microaggressions against a show?? :o
