Started watching the Met's production of Glass's Satyagraha. The movie sic is hypnotic.

If that's the one that was shown on PBS, I recorded that and really enjoyed it.

I got the recordings of Glass' three operas when I was in college.

I could never get into Einstein on the Beach (I think it was too minimalist for me), but for some reason I love both Akhnaten and Satyagraha.

I hate autocorrect. Three times it tried to change "in act two" to "I'm fact two. "

Got The Warriors from the library today.

I'm debating if I want to get it.  I probably will, but not right away.

Today, I actually just received the Blu-ray to the concert version of Titanic: The Musical.

I got it on sale.  The list price is $19.95, and there was a sale to bring it down to $16.78, and then there was ANOTHER 30% off coupon through Amazon, so that the total (before tax and with free shipping) was only $11.75!

Tax was only $1.14 which made the grand total only $12.89.

One of the more eye-opening comments from Quincy Jones in an obit was when he talked about going danving with Marlon Brando, who, according to Jones, slept with James Baldwin and Marvin Gaye as well as Richard Pryor.

Sorry sometime “ too loud” just means it’s too damn LOUD!!!
