Made dough for Lebkuchen for the first time. I will roll it out tomorrow. I have a couple of Santa images I can attach. But most will be plain.

Today, the management of our building replaced the toilet, which has not been working well for a long, long time.

This new one flushes like gangbusters. It could take your finger off!

Indeed.  The image of someone actually putting his finger in, for one thing.  And also the image of sitting too far down on the seat makes one cringe at the possibilities.

Finally had to shut down the computer and restart. Somehow with all the crap happening all day before shutting it down, I seem to have had an elmore thing, losing at least six years of e-mails on the main account, including all my e-mails from Mr. Sondheim. Perhaps they're still loading and will show up at some point.
