DR George, Bird's Nests are veggies that taste a lot like potato latkes only a tempura thing. The packages come with soy sauce for dipping.

Today I was at a leadership luncheon on the campus of Saint Olaf College, the DH's alma mater.

Dessert was 7 kinds of cookies (a Norwegian tradition, which is the affiliation of the school), yule log, and riskrem topped with lingonberry sauce.

Riskrem is made of rice pudding, mixed with whipped cream, sugar, and vanilla.
