Last night the cats and I watched two movies, both gay comedies, one on Netflix and one on Amazon. The Amazon one was Big Eden, with Arye Gross as a successful New York artist who returns to his Montana hometown, Big Eden, to care for his grandfather, played by George Coe, who appeared on Broadway in Company and On the Twentieth Century, The cast includes Louise Fletcher and Veanne Cox. It's a sweet little movie, and I wish there was a bit of chemistry between the leading men, Gross and Eric Schweig. The supporting cast is wonderful, and it';s often very funny.

I really like this movie.  People forget (or just didn't know) that George Coe was also in the cast of the very first season of Saturday Night Live. :D

I now remember that I had forgotten that.

Also, our Worship Leader today was 8 years old. He did a better job than some of the adults.

Good news.

Are there any nude scenes in FLY ME TO THE MOON?

Not that I recall. I think I would have remembered that.

Oh well.

I guess I'll link the FLY ME TO THE MOON parody again anyway, to celebrate the upcoming holiday travel season.  (And it's a post.)

DR George, Bird's Nests are veggies that taste a lot like potato latkes only a tempura thing. The packages come with soy sauce for dipping.

Thanks, Jane.  Those look good.

Today we saw the tour of Kimberly Akimbo. We enjoyed it very much. The sound was much improved today; I understood almost everything.

I bought the original Broadway cast recording not too long after the show opened.  I still haven't listened to it. ::)

Even better, the baby was born on her aunt's birthday.

Sweet!
