I have finished kitty cleanup and a bit of residual cleanup from last night's mess in the bathroom. Annabelle is not happy this morning. She's been scolding me for over an hour. When I pick her up and hold her, hjer purring goes into overdrive, and when I set her down, she begins yelling again.

Visiting the lively town of La Vernia this morning for a friend’s Christmas cantata. Well, his church’s cantata.

Why lively?  I googled photos and didn't see much there.

Maybe it was a typo and he really meant "lovely."  The i and o are right next to each other.  I've made that typo a lot over the years.

So far, and yesterday at this point as well, things have gone smoothly. I've spent much of today loading Sondheim recordings I play a lot into my iTunes and listening to holiday music, beginning at 7:00 this morning with Bach's Christmas Oratorio. Ann came by for a brief visit and to bring me a turkey meatloaf dinner. It was quite good.

I read an article recently saying that photo booths were unappreciated at weddings and parties, along with other games and thing.  I agreed about the games but not the photo booths.  Obviously DR George enjoyed the booth

So did a lot of other people at the party.  You could scan a QR code to get to the pictures online, but not just your picture.  You could see all the pics from the party.

So did a lot of other people at the party.  You could scan a QR code to get to the pictures online, but not just your picture.  You could see all the pics from the party.

That is a great option if you know a lot of people at the event.  I would have especially enjoyed doing that at our last high school reunion.

The event looked nice so, as I suspected, you wore your dressy shirt.  Dennis dressed a bit more traditional.  Did anyone else where a nice Hawaiian shirt, or dressy casual shirt or did most of the men dress more traditional? Maybe I should have said conservative vs traditional.
