Finished another French movie from France.

In true American style, it was a remake of an Argentinian film from the year before, but with an entirely different approach. I enjoyed it and am now going to watch the Argentinian film, which sounds a lot more like a typical movie of today rather than the austere and slightly ambiguous courtroom drama of the remake.

Went to the movies with the family to see Sonic the Hedgehog 3. The kids enjoyed it. We sat in AVX seating which means the seats rumbled and moved a bit with the action on screen. I could handle that for about 3 minutes before I turned my seat off.

The movie was corny as hell. Made bearable by Jim Carrey’s hamming it up in two roles. I watched the whole thing without realizing Keanu Reeves was a key voice. That’s good acting.
