This was on Playbill today.  (Has this been discussed here previously?)

https://playbill.com/article/opera-norths-love-life-to-receive-cast-album
"Opera North's Love Life to Receive Cast Album
The album will be the first complete recording of Kurt Weill's score."

Wow, when it rains it pours. I didn't know about this recording but we were speculating if the Encores production would be released as a cast album. I have my tickets for that!

When is your NYC visit, MichaelG?

March 25-29. We'll see Love Life, Gypsy, and Cécile McLorin Salvant at Carnegie Hall.

After I futzed and finessed, I only wrote a few paragraphs and then plopped back into bed and slept for three hours - so, lost the morning and afternoon. I then wrote one page, had a telephonic conversation, went to the mail place and got the errant and truant package, got a Subway spicy Eyetalian sandwich for food, came home, ate the sandwich, and finally, at six, buckled down Winsocki and wrote without interruption until seven-thirty. Seven pages.

Took a break and now I'll try to do another five to seven by ten-thirty.

There was an illuminated desert garden in Phoenix that I never missed over the holiday period when I lived there.

I see they have one this year that is so popular, it’s been extended through mid-March.

LIGHT BLOOM by HYBYCOZO is a limited-time exhibit where nature and light converge. This mesmerizing display invites you to explore the Garden transformed by stunning geometric light installations that illuminate the beauty of the desert landscape in a new way. As the sun sets, LIGHT BLOOM comes to life, casting intricate shadows and vibrant hues across the Garden. Wander the trails and let the enchanting installations transport you to a magical realm where the natural world meets the abstract.

Hmm…

I may have been thinking of ZOOLIGHTS at the Phoenix Zoo, which I loved.

Scott Walker had a great song of him interacting with the lady “Time Operator.”
