Nothing at present, but this week I watched another DVD that I can get rid of - The Eiger Sanction - not because I don’t like the movie but because the disc itself is a hideous example of a primitive transfer, probably ported over from VHS or laserdisc. I’d enjoy seeing a proper new scan. I always remember walking down the street to see this one for a dollar (maybe it was two) at the Writers Guild theeder on Doheny.

Yesterday being a no-post office mail, no stock market day (in honor of President Jimmy Carter) gave the day a Sunday feel for me.

I am vaccinated. It went so quickly that I was out of my 10:30 appointment by 10:32. Since I gad no idea of how long I would be at the CVS, I acheduled my ride home for 11:30. As saoon as I was vaccination area, I called Access-a-Ride to inquire about an earlier ride. They came through, and a very nice and helpful driver showed up around 11:00. I literally walked into my apartment at 11:30.

I have to go back after March 11 for shingles vaccine #2.

Shingles #1 was the first time I ever had a reaction to a vaccination (except a really sore arm from Tetanus shots). I was really tired and achy, as I recall.
