It was excellent, but I couldn’t eat half. The cups are fried plantain. Each is filled all pastor or asada beef, chicken or ceviche. Then topped with a house sauce and mayo. You could also get ketchup , but why would you? Cheese on top.

Starting another Japanese horror film, The X from Outer Space. The promised chicken lizard monster hasn’t made an appearance yet. Instead, we have some groovy background music and special effects on par with The Creature Wasn’t Nice.

The space ship isn’t flying upwards. It flies right to left or left to right.

It's warming up. It's 42 outside now and not expected to drop below 40. By noon tomorrow, it's supposed to be 60.

While on my wanderings today, I found 2 identical 45 rpm records on an unfamiliar label. No artist was credited but someone had written “Bill Kenny” on one of them. Now, the only Bill Kenny I know is Bill Kenny of the Ink Spots. So I look up his name and the song titles, and sure enough, it’s a couple songs he put out on a small label while he was married and living in New Westminster, BC in the ‘70s.

What’s more I looked more closely at the name written on the label, and it’s a signature. “God Bless and Love, Bill Kenny”. So I had to buy those!

The comedy was going to the checkout counter and the woman insisted they were CDs. I’m like, these are small records called 45s, which you have listed for $1.99. She wouldn’t believe me until I photographed her pricing chart on the wall and a nice old lady explained to her that 45s were indeed records.

Guilala is what they have named the monster.

I just saw a little clip from a production of The Play that Goes Wrong here. Every single actor has one of those awful mics running down their cheek. Is this generation of actors not capable of, I don't know, PROJECTING? Now they must be coddled and babied?

Why you gotta steal the whole plot of Head Mics: The Musical?!

Hi, George!

Vibes to your mother. I know she was in the hospital, but that’s about all. She had surgery?

Sorry I missed you, Jeanne!  Yes, she had surgery and she's doing quite well now.  It was a success!

Tonight, I worked barback (cashier and helper for the paid bartender) for a singer named Meow Meow.

Her act was essentially a cabaret act with a couple of audience participation moments that were quite funny!
