Back from a medical appointment. I asked about a measles booster; they ordered a titer (thanks, DR Jane!) to see what's what.

Cool.

DR Iris, sending Mega Vibes your way and praying they work.  I completely understand your decision to stop.  I do hope you have the engery to write one letter to Hopkins with a copy of your Grovers biopsy and a complaint of how they treated you.  There is no excuse for their attitude.

It’s not worth it.

The doctors at Hopkins have enormous egos, and are always offended when I dare to ask questions. There are a few good ones, but not many.

Five years ago yestertday, March 13, 2020, was a Friday. On that day, I had a delightful lunch with Jack Vierte, and when we parted, I to home and he to the Encores! rehearsal of Love Life,, little did we suspect that within four hours New York and the world we knew would shut down because of a plague the GOP called a Democrat hoax and the president claimed would be over by summer.

Two new books I’ve been reading this week have dealt with the pandemic. Raising Hare was a touching memoir of a woman who saves a hare and gains a greater appreciation of nature. Small Rain is about a poet who discovers he has a life-threatening illness during covid. So far, it’s about navigating the hospital system during a time of medical shortages.

Raising Hare sounds wonderful!

Nice stories from DR RON PULLIAM and DR CHAS SMITH.

That's quite to keyboard set up!

And all those dames from the House of Lycus.

So many funny lines:

Hero: She's from the House of Lycus......is that bad?

Pseudolus: Well there's no way to make it seem like an accomplishment.

My Saint Louis basketball team is not doing so well today.

Maybe they will come on strong in the second half.

In my experience, bookcases always go fast unless they’re obvious crap. But the poor table. A picture should be taken of it, right where it is.

I did not realize that on the evening of March 12, 1971, David Burns was performing in Philadelphia in the pre-Broadway tour of 70, Girls, 70. After singing "Go Visit," he left the stage and collapsed in the wings, later dying at the hospital. The show's creators then turned the song into a duet for two other characters, and that is what we have on the cast album and what opened in New York.

Jesus! The Fat Orange Felon is on TV behaving like the host of a third-rate award show. Someone, take him out for good.

Tonight we will be watching the 4th episode of the 2017 show Taboo.  There was supposed to be a season 2 which unfortunately didn't happen.  I am completely engrossed in this show.

Then we are going to watch the first episode of a South Korean show, Crash Landing on You, from 2019.  This show concludes after 16 episodes.

We'll most likely watch the new MATLOCK and/or ELSBETH that debuted on the network last night.

I'm up, I'm up - about seven hours of sleep due to a horrible allergy attack at five in the morning that kept me up until eight-thirty. I just got up fifteen minutes ago and now have to scramble to get ready, eat, and dry tech.
