I had two fantastic deliveries yesterday: the new vocal score for Love Life and a book I've wanted for some time. It's usually rather too expensive for me, but I lucked out several weeks ago and found a nice copy on eBay for less than $20.

As to the new Love Life vocal score, I wish that digitized music had the grace, balance, and beauty of engraved music. The score isn't as horrifying as some, but when we worked on the Babes in Toyland edition, we tried very much to make the new scores look more like the old engraved scores.

TOD: In general I avoid canned food, but good canned tuna, canned San Marzano tomatoes, jarred anchovies, and jarred cannelini beans are delicious exceptions.
