Love Howard Browne.  I have the paperback of Thin Air, and also a first Brit edition of So Long At The Fair inscribed by its author, Anthony Thorne.

I'll have to stay up a bit more to see more photographs.  I hope we get the Du-Par's photograph.

BK introduced me to the Dolores burger and the infamous Z sauce a few weeks ago.  While different, I confess to not being as enamoured of it as BK is.  And the fries don't stand up to Bird's onion rings.

At the Cheesecake Factory, dear BK and our very own Mr. Grant Geissman.(wondering the spell is okay..); Grant was nice and has been in Tokyo once so he knows some Japanese words. I love that!

It's a photo feast!  First the New York contingent's glut of swell photos!  And now Hisaka's great photos.  Bring 'em on!  By the by, who's incognito behind those Foster Grants?  Do they still make Foster Grants?

Grant Geissman should wear Foster Grants and then eat at Fosters Freeze.

Also, I believe I overheard at Du-Par's that they are now open 24 hours a day.

I found a lovely red rose in the BK's front garden. BK's house was in beautiful and quiet surroundings.

I was not angy or tired with the most delicious pancakes in the world. I was just full. ;)

I do believe we'll be to page three by the time I toddle off to the bedroom environment or Du-Par's.

Well, I let The Lovely Wife know you were heavily hinting (no subtlety at all) that you wanted someone to join you at the now-open-all-night Du-pars for pancakes!  And as tempting  as those pancakes look in that picture, The Lovely Wife just wearily shook her head, "No."   Alas, alack!  There was a time, before we became geezers, that we were wild and spontaneous and always hungry in the wee hours!

Yes, we were both very full, but ten minutes later there were no pancakes left.

My favorite pancake thing: The plate was in the center of the table for us to share.  Hisaka took the first bite, and her face lit up like a Christmas tree, and then she got a devilish look in her eye and slid the plate directly in front of her.

Oh, well - no pancakes.  Tell Julieanne that she is a WUSSBURGER.  I miss the old adventurous days of snatch breakfasts and late-night wacky meals.

Oops (spoo, spelled backwards), Mahler was early.  I hate when that happens.
