Put a piece of bread in the waffle iron, then toast it.

Don't they have someplace that delivers pancakes?  Tell them they are for James Marsden.

Pogue is attending to many things - hopefully we can get him over here to watch the film in the next few weeks.

Page four it is.  I shall now toddle off to the bedroom environment.  It will be most amusing when people get up in the morning, oh, yes, it will be most amusing.

I cannot imagine that DR CP hasn't seen NBNW....it is such a wonderful film and right up his street, so to speak.

Sadly, DG Ann is sound asleep, so I fear there will be no pancake trek tonight.

I really enjoyed many photos from the NY gathering. Thank you to all who posted them on the site. I'd like to have a chance to see east coasters as well someday in the near future.

Good morning, all!  Four pages at 6:30 am?  Oy!

I am already excited about the 2006 advent of DRTomovoz.  So far, it's the only item on my 2006 calendar, but it's an EVENT.

TOD:
   DVD:  Cinderella
CD:  Susan Egan Coffee House, Stages, The Mines of Sulphur
   VCR:  cheap porn

It turns out through a fluke that I inadvertantly bought two DVDs of THE TURNING POINT for my goddaughter, who's ballet teacher is Lelie Brown.  Would any DR like a copy of THE TURNING POINT with Miss MacLaine and Bancroft?

What a morning surprise!!! Page 4 and it's not even 7:15. I have to admit I thought it was a mistake. The board has been misbehaving in the early morning and I thought that somehow a post had been repeated and posted about 99 times in a row x ;D

Last night Jose said:

We couldn't remember where the Chelsea location of Emack & Bolio's was.  But at least we got some good walking in.

It's at Seventh Avenue between 13th and 14th Streets on the west side of the street next to the apartment building two storefronts down from the Papaya King.

Listening to CD Masters on BBC 3 right now as I attack the end of the Annie E. Casey Foundation.

Thanks for the pictures Hisaka. I felt like I was in California. Perhaps you can book your trip to coincide with Tom's and we will have another big fall celebration in 2006.

Time to return to work.

Forgot about this bit of information. A mention of the Darling of the Day staging in Illinois. It's just a quick mention but a mention, nonetheless, of our own stellar presence on the site, Mr. Larry Moore. The link is below

In another week's time I shall have the opportunity of seeing a production of "Steel Pier". I anticipate I shall enjoy it very much - great score.

Back to TOTD:  As JMK noted some weeks ago, Sergio Mendes & Brazil 66 do a wonderful version of "Sometimes In Winter." I'm really enjoying this CD.

To keep the posts moving along:

Movie mentioned in my media check. Very much a favourite here in Oz in the 1950's. Discovered it in a cheapies bin - dreadful cover on the DVD but the movies is a delight.  I'd not seen it for many years. So much charm.

DR RLP will no doubt be pleased to know that my copy of "Cinderella" did not arrive in today's mail.  Maybe Monday.

Had I said "Come Monday" I would of course have mentioned Jimmy Buffet.
