Buoyed by the appearance of the sleazy Roy Cohn in GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK, I pulled out CITIZEN COHN from the to-watch shelf. I only got about 10 minutes of it watched before coming to the internet, but I should be able to finish it when I go back downstairs.

I saw it years ago when HBO premiered it, but I haven't seen it all the way through since.

Fans here of Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops may be interested to know that they are touring China and, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer reporter traveling with them, enjoying great success and huge ovations.

I keep trying to post a Page 6 Lucy Dance, but the site doesn't seem to want to take it.

CITIZEN COHN was an intriguing book - the HBO movie was very good, but the man was so .... evil seems strong, but I can't think of another ... that it's difficult to watch.

Instead of a Lucy dance, how about a Lana descent (her big moment in "Ziegfeld Girl"):

Guess it's time for my living room to get some attention. I'll be back later with some opinions on CITIZEN COHN and SUPERNATURAL.

The next Val Lewton is THE LEOPARD MAN. Might try to get that watched, too.

Orange juice (always freeshly squeezed) Cereal (unsweetened as most are here), Toast and Tea.
(Tea of the leaf variety - never the teabag variety - we all have our standards).

Ooooh!  oooh!  My WIZARD OF OZ came, too! ! !
So did my TITANIC. . .I'm not into it for the necklace, I'm into it for the recreation. . .I'm certainly not into it for the screenplay. . .but, I can't wait to view it anamorphically and in 6.1 DTS sound!

took seven years total of French, rarely speak it, often read it, never write it. . .and that's it for the TOD of td.

I kind of liked that ending.....

I didn't mind the ending either, it was the 190+ minutes prior to the ending that I didn't like.

And, except for the fact he drew the portrait of her wearing it, it really had nothing to do with him.

Sorry Cillaliz.  ;D

No, but it was the reason that they went out to the site in the present.  So, if she just gives it to them, then they know she was playing a game with them so she could tell her story. Now she's told her story, she seems to like the treasure hunter and he likes her granddaughter, so now they can find it in the wreckage and will never be the wiser to her little game.  I like that, she's smarter than all of them.

I never thought of that before.  It's quite true that she never told them she had the necklace, even though in the telling of the story, we see that she has it after being rescued.

Someone help me out here, in reference to "Titanic" on DVD.

I know there is a new 2-DVD set.

I've read there will be a 4-DVD set and a 5-DVD set.

Any truth to this?  Or any variation?

Has anyone seen the grisly Campbell Soup commercial with John Lithgow?  It was like watching a major accident with heads and blood flying everywhere.  What were they thinking?

He won a Tony® Award for being in a musical! ::) That's what they were thinking.

The US (Region 1) got a THREE, not TWO disc edition of TITANIC.
Europe (and other regions) got the FOUR disc edition.
One of the lacking items on the Region 1 Edition is this:

I love John Lithgow.  I'm amazed by how dreadful the commercial is from its writing to its design to its staging.
