Jose, maybe you should get a knee brace.  They also have those Icy Hot Medicated Sleeves.  I used that on my ankle and all I can say is that it went down pretty fast.

Also I buy "Blue Goo" at Walmart for my Mom's wrist when it hurts her.  She broke it many years ago and it bothers her now and then.

Off to a recording session, BBL.

Good Afternoon!

Well...  After a nice hot soak with some epsom salts in the water, as well as a nice hot shower... I'm feeling much better.  And so is my knee.  It's a bit twingy, but it feels OK.  So... I actually think I'm gonna venture out for a bit and run some errands.

No one can guess why my license plate said BISQUE?  Skammen.  And still people sit there like cars without gas.  Like marmalade without toast.  Like toast without a toaster.

Errr, because.....   Well, because.......    Gee, I just don't know!   :D

Thursday greetings.  If I didn't have a commitment tonight to eat spaghetti with 60 ministers and then speak to them for 20-30 minutes about faith-based funding, I'd have called in sick.  My cold has developed into a doozy, so I guess I'll spend my 4-day weekend sneezing and coughing :P

Vibes to DR Ann - I don't know what's worse:  knowing what you're walking into or getting it when you least expect it (that's happened to me a couple of times recently).  Anyway, hope it turns out OK for you.

DR Danise - loved the photos!  I do have the map I was tracing as we toured and will try to scan it for you.

That will be one of my errands, DR Danise.  I was hoping to find a spare roll of Ace Bandage upstairs, but no such luck.  And I'm guessing some Icy-Hot and/or one of those new-fangled patches too.  We'll see.

My brother, Jay, helped me stretch out earlier, and that helped a lot.  The whole 'thing' is definitely more tight that sore, so... We'll see.  If things seems to progress for the worse while I'm out, I'll swing by my uncle's office.  He's a doctor.

Thank you for the great NYC photos, DR Danise.
I'd been in NYC over twenty years ago and I'd like to go so far as there on my next visit to the USA.

I hope I'll get to meet you there, DR Hisaka.    :)

TOD:

Hard to talk about soup when one has been eating candy bars all morning.

But I do likes a nice big bowl of French Onion.  Or Tomato Basil.  Or Chicken Noodle.

I'm sorry to hear about your cold DR Ginny but I'll look forward to the map.  I've been sneezing quite a bit.  I think a lot of the problem is that it got so cold so quickly that my body didn't have time to adjust.  I don't worry about me as much as my Mom--she can't take the cold.

BISQUE - can be pronounced:  BK

All references I've found have only "bisk" as a pronunciation.

From what I gather, it has different meanings depending on what your experiences with bisque are.

Perhaps that's why BK's car has BISQUE on its license plate...he's a riddle inside a mystery wrapped up in an enigma.  He's a human bisque....

Doctor's appointment went "okay."  We're going to experiment with my daily meds...gonna take one out of the mixture and see how it affects me.

The goal, ultimately, is to get off meds entirely...but it's tougher the older you get.

Found it!   :)

Loved the pictures, DRDANISE.

Now I have a dumb question....is that a picture of Michael Ball and SOMEONE in a baseball cap - or is that Michael Ball in a baseball cap....or....I can't figure it out.  The Michael Ball looks like a theatre poster, I am confused.  I know...I know....

Oh, you want an answer!   ;)

That is Michael Ball, himself (not a poster), posing with someone (unknown but it should have been me) in a baseball cap.   ;D

BISQUE can be pronounced BK???  The BISQUEmobile was black, as I recall.

But, Jose is so close - what CAN be pronounced BISQUE are my complete initials (or Benjamin Kritzer's complete initials): BSK.

Now, who can figure out what my second personal plate meant: HEYLIG
