We're baaaaack! After a year long hiatus so we could catch up and plan this year, Kritzerland is back with show and soundtrack releases. First up, is the first in a new series of foreign cast albums. I started an L.M. Mongomery novel today called The Blue Castle. I loved the Anne of Green Gables books and had never heard of this one. Well, it’s not a children’s book, but it has proven addictive. And I may even finish it tonight.

Today’s teaching was interesting. It was special ed. One boy was incredibly smart, but he could get wound up, which either bouncing around the room or breaking down in tears of frustration. I didn’t get many tears. But I was in awe of how smart he was. He’s his own worst enemy.

Another girl was very smart, did all of her work on her own. She impressed me greatly. She too gets frustrated when she doesn’t get something in seconds. But I told her how good the job she did in math and reading, and I added that she really was smart, but to give herself a break because she was just learning at her own speed. I don’t think anyone has praised her efforts before. I hope she takes my words to heart.
