Did I say this recently? I watched Gabe Kaplan on a comedy show on YouTube. He was the emcee. His opening monologue was quite funny. Good to see him back in the game.

I didn't realize that he was still alive. Sadly, several actors from Welcome Back, Kotter have died.

Thanks for vibes Singdaw. I went yesterday and interviewed at a newspaper in regular Washington. Loved the people. Just don’t think I could commute that far for what they want to pay. Possibly if the offered me a part time thing I could do along with my current gig, I’d consider that. But it was fun to go on an interview.

Jrand - I came very close to Richie Brockelman - I think had I gotten it the show might have lasted. I also think if I'd been able to do the role I did have in The Adventures of Freddie that that would have sold but chicken pox said no. I think if the George Kennedy pilot had sold, that would have been a good series and would have done me well. But as they say ad nauseam in Merrily We Roll Along - never look back.

Wow, Richie Brockelman.  That's a show I haven't thought of in a long time.  My sister and I used to watch that.

On the plane home I watched the movie version of Les Miz, which I'd never seen before. I never even heard the musical until about a year ago, when I listened to different cast recordings. I'm looking forward to seeing it on stage in the West End in a couple months.

I very much enjoyed the movie version, though it would be better on a big screen. It's streaming on Prime now.

Friday at one the board will come down again and they'll finally do their thing. Looks like the avatar thing, which is a separate thing, may have to be reloaded from scratch - doesn't mean we'll have to do anything, but they can't get it to work at this point and it's baffling them.
