Safe Travels to all those DRs hitting the roads, riding the rails and taking to the skies this weekend.

Well, in honor of Thanksgiving....

It's Turkey-Lurkey Time!

OH!

And all this talk of Britney Spears going into Sweet Charity... and transferring over to the Hilton...  Well...

There are some Sweet Charity alumni in Damn Yankees, and you should hear the other names that actually have been considered to replace Ms. Applegate once her contract is up in December!

*The one person that I think I would have liked to see in the role would have been Brooke Shields - and since she's already a "Weissler baby" - but she's now pregnant with her second child.  And Tom Cruise will be the godfather.   NOT!!!!  ;D

Well, I have a dull headache (minor sinus stuff), and my back hurts (guess I should have started off with the "easy" level of my workout the other day after all), so...

Goodnight.

OH!

But before I go... I meant to comment on this the other day...

DR Joy commented on her experience when she asked an actor about his height, well...

I know some actors who are defensive about their height because they are tall.  Because to some eyes, they're too tall.  6'1" seems to be acceptable, 6'2" sometimes, but 6'3" and 6'4" can actually be a kiss of death for some actors.  I know actors who are that tall, and they actually lie on their resume and say they're shorter.  Even in the modeling world, being "too" tall can be plus rather than a minus.

And then there are those actors who feel they are too "average" being 5'6"-5'8".

Good night, Jose, although you're gone more than 20 minutes.

Another interesting demographic for our gathering tomorrow:

My mother - in her 80's
My aunt (my mother's sister) - in her 70's
My sister - in her 60's
Me - in my 50's
My niece (my sister's daughter) - in her 40's

Okay, free association post:

My niece's father's birthday: March
My niece's birthday:  April
My birthday:  May
My mom's birthday:  June
My sister's boyfriend's birthday:  July
My dad's birthday:  August
My sister and her ex-mother-in-law's birthday:  September 27, and they're both named Diane!

I went to Costco today (that's where I got the pecan pie) and they were selling their cheesecakes for $5.00!  Normally, they're $11.95 and Costco never has "sales," just coupons...and I've never seen a coupon for any of their foodstuffs.  But a co-worker was there at the same time and she said that they're only $5 because they made too many and have to get rid of them.  I don't know if that's true or not (it's certainly plausible) but I got two of them and they're now in my freezer!  Score! ;D
