Well, I'm going to wussburger.  I've got to get up very early and run the snowblower and then shovel the walks.  Who needs treadmills!

Maybe I was too old to appreciate RUDOLPH when it first aired. I was already 14 or 15, so I felt to grown up for it, I guess.

I'm going to head for bed myself.

Tomorrow should be a less hectic day, and I hope to just relax and enjoy a selection of TV and DVDs.

I like the Island of Misfit Toys. Even though there are some toys that seem perfectly fine.

Health Vibes to Jennifer!
I had a wicked sore throat a few years back, actually it was after TPunk and my second date. I went home and my throat hurt so bad I walked to the nearest hospital and they were like, it's just a viral thing, we can't really do anything for you. No antibiotics, nothing.

I called TPunk the next morning and told her to take some vitamin C. But that girl rarely gets sick, and she didn't then.

I took my camera to Best Buy today for repair. All my photos have had spots on them lately. The customer service guy was a snot. I had purchased the extended warranty (for the first time ever) so it better be covered.

Freddie vibes to MBarnum.

We had an odd night a couple weeks back, where at 2 am someone was ringing our bell and saying our cat was trying to get into our apartment. I had seen Killbot before dozing off, and Walty was right there so I said, "No way." Then I opened the door a crack and Killbot came running in. How could this be?

Turns out our smoke alarm had gone off a couple days prior, and TPunk had opened one of our windows slightly. Well, Killbot decided to squeeze out and see the sights. We are on the ground floor, but how she knew how to find the front entrance to our building and then the door to our apt. I have no clue. And she was lucky this nice person braved ringing our bell at 2 am.

DanTM-
Thank you for the "Don't Cry Out Loud" serenade last night. We have been debating along with TPunk's mom whether the sentiment of that song is good advice or not. Melissa Manchester herself says she changed the lyrics when she sang it at Peter Allen's memorial service.

But DR Laura, the commercials make all the BEST BUY employees seem like such friendly folks. Ah, advertisements.

Back and am exhausted.   We did an endless go-through of the order - not really doing anything but a few of the musical numbers.  It actually didn't take that long, but I can see that unless we start being brutal the second act is WAY too long - not because of the numbers (well, one number is going to have to be shortened), but the tributes, which are much too wordy.  They're trying to just jam it full of facts, and they're not interesting facts, and I spoke to the co-director, whose domain those are, and unfortunately some of it is political and he's saying has to be there.  I'm saying we're not doing a stupid history lesson or lecture, we're doing a SHOW, and entertainment, and anything that feels long-winded has to be shortened.  He finally agreed to look at those speeches.  He feels you just can't do a tribute without going into some detail, and I feel 100% differently - Cliff's Notes, baby, Cliff's Notes.

The musical director was home working and resting, so I played my numbers, and the kids did really well and I'm very proud of them.  I'll talk about the teachers' number, which we performed in front of about forty people, later in the notes.

So, Tomovoz shows up, sits there like so much fish, but doesn't post.  I see, said the spider to the fly.  And do you know what the fly replied?  "Who gives a flying Wallenda what you see?  Just tell me why fershluganah Tomovoz is just sitting there like so much fish, not posting."  To which the spider replied, "I see."  For those were the only two words the spider knew.

The End.

Oh, I'm having deja vu - last night it was up to me to push us over 200, and tonight it's up to me to push us over 200.  And all because we've had the ATTACK OF THE WUSSBURGERS WITH CHEESE.

I've been doing two cups of emergenC each day this week - I'm feeling really good, but I figured I'd just load up on the vitamins and such.

I have many DVDs piled up, which I now won't be able to get to until after next Tuesday.  I'm sort of in the middle of the new DVD of Fritz Lang's Scarlet Street, a film I adore.
