Vibes to a special man in Tacoma is not feeling well this day. Hint - it's not Jed.

Friendly thoughts for our favourite "dirty-minded" kimlet!

And why rush - the future gets here soon enough anyway.

Why live in Tomorrowland when it's so cosy on Main Street, USA!?!

DR Barnum:

A "driver" like that must drive you "crazy" no?

I'm sure it drives DRMBarnum to Distraction, which is I believe a social center on the wrong side of the tracks in Salem.

I'm back from a sparkling event with DR FJL and Skip and their lovely sparkling guests and animals:  MJ and Margo, Ronnie, Julie. Ms Do-re-milla, her sister, brother-in-law and lively nephew Ben, and of coursethe fabulous Toby and Dylan, who were in rare form.  It was quite a successful and wonderful afternoon of socializing and dining ; I must say that Skip and FJL do provide an amazingly abundant and delicious spread.  This has been quite a wonderfulk Christmas Day, and now I'm debating crossing the street and seeing the 7:45 showing of THE PRODUCERS.

If I cross the street I find the Medical School! Even at 1:34 am it must NOT be fun there! ;)

Good to see DR Danise on the board. If this were to be a page 5 dance she could be on the boards.

"Across The Street is a million miles away" - So sang Ray Peterson in 1965.

An obscure Australia only hit for the interest of DR Rodzinski

That is EXACTLY where I stopped as well DRMATTH - so that I could finish watching the fabulous Mexican Cabareteria film sent me by DRMBARNUM.
En Carne Viva - The RAW Life.  Whew!

MBARNUM make sure you watch the Trailers on this disc - Santo the Wrestler fights some guys from space who can make themselves invisible, and it all ends up - in the ring.  Also a trailer for an interesting film called Quinceaneros.....I think it means graduation....but it looks GREAT!   8)

Ah, yes I did see those trailers! I have the Santo movie and it is a riot! I guess I was thinking that you had that one already...must be someone else I know...and the teenage melodrama QUINCEANEROS is on my Amazon wish list...reminds me of something John Saxon and Sandra Dee would be in...if they were making Mexican films! LOL!

Finished watching MARCH OF THE WOODEN SOLDIERS, (1934)...I LOVE that movie! Laurel and Hardy just crack me up and that Felix Knight is sort of attractive to my eyes! And what a voice...so many wonderful songs! The DVD is colorized, something I am not a big fan of, but they did a very good job of it with this DVD, so I can live with it.

Oh, and that Charlotte Henry is such a cutie pie!

It's always wonderful to have elmore over, but elmore left taking about half of the partygoers with him (party of ten cut in half to party of five).  :)  With the remaining five folk happening to be mostly of the Hebrew persuasion, we switched the focus of celebration.  We broke out the Menorah and candles and welcomed in the Festival of Lights with a light show of both flaming and vocal pyrotechnics not seen in our apartment since last Hannukah.

Now, Francois, do I make terrible puns out of your holidays?

(Actually, I would if I could think of any.  I'll work on one for Bastille Day.)

Christmas evening greetings from SW Ohio!  It's been a full, but relatively quiet holiday here.  DH Richard, DS Rob, and I opened presents this morning - they gave me a lovely framed watercolor that I had admired in a local gallery.  I will try to take a picture and post it when we have some sunlight.  This afternoon we were joined by my mother, her sister, and my cousin from Atlanta.  We opened our stocking presents with them and I received a lot of wonderful Godiva, Ghirardelli, and Choxie chocolate, plus a bag of mint M & M's.  We had our Christmas dinner about 4pm, the guys watched DS Rob's new DVD, Serenity, and I visited with my mom and aunt. Company just left and I'm ready to crash!

Loved the photos from bk's partay - DR PennyO is stunning in silver!

"When You're in Love the Whole world is Jewish" - I think that is from the movie.

OR it may have been Frank Gallop and his friend Irving.
