Fresh fish everybody!!

The high point of 2005 was getting through Dr. C's Chamber of Horrors. The low point was every day I had to go to Dr. C's Chamber of Horrors.

Now I'm in somebody else's Chamber of Horrors for a winter break class. It's not a bad class, but it gets old being there for three and a half hours a day. I get to go on a field trip to an AA meeting. I am very excited.

We just got back from church's annual soup-tasting party. My mom's tomato soup was delicious. Then we played board games.

We have the ultimate noise-maker going now. The Wing CD somebody gave my mom for Christmas. She's singing Mama Mia.

What am I, doing a monologue all of a sudden?

I just wanted to pop in before the West Coast midnight and will now catch up from where I left off before dinner (the end of page four!) and continue from here at the same time. ;D

I just got back to my house.  After dinner, we all came to my sister's house and watced a bit of a video of a Canadian group singing Christmas music that was taped off of TV.  They performed a version of Auld Lang Syne, with what is supposedly the original melody.  Very different than what is traditionally performed, but incredibly beautiful!  I want to get a copy of the video (it's actually available for purchase on DVD and CD) because it was all just so good!  I can't remember the name of the group, but it won't be hard to find out. ;)

I hope the first two US New Year's Eves were fun!  I guess I'll find out!

I'm watching the local NBC affiliate and they're showing the Space Needle.  Instead of the ball dropping in New York, the elevator rises to the top and the fireworks go off.
