A major market studio film, eh?  How about that The First Nudie Musical was the first GOOD nudie musical?

After seeing BOTH Sinderella AND Goldilocks - I am not going to debate that!  8)

Now, I don't want to alarm anyone - not even Jack and Rexella (but JMK this may be on their next broadcast, and now that you have ALL the stations in the world you can see it) - but -

The Nazis are meeting in bunds in Florida and financing the return to power of the Master Race by counterfeiting $20 bills from plates made during WWII...AND they are using a motorcycle gang called Hell's Bloody Devils to overthrow the US government.

I just thought you should know!

:o

I was going to go see Brokeback tonight, until I got a call from someone reminding me that I'm going to the Gardenia to see Kristopher McDowell, whom I know little about.

He was the ex-boyfriend of the guy who started Jerome records by stealing money. He had his cd debut on that label.

DR Elmoore did orchestration for the album

Well, I am now going to eat some dinner and watch a movie that just arrived today via Netflix titled CALAMARI WRESTLER...yes, it is about a giant, man sized squid who becomes a famous wrestler in Japan.

I know you don't believe me so here is the front cover of the DVD box to prove it!

I think I have a movie to watch, unfortunately it doesn't have a wrestling calimari in it!

At the supermarket tonight, I picked up a copy of the new TV Guide, primarily because of a nifty picture of Matthew Fox on the cover.  What a piece of crap this once favorite magazine has become!  There is not one substantial paragraph in the entire rag and it has the ugliest layout I've ever seen in a major publication.  Tiger Beat would have looked like The New Yorker in comparison.  Oh, it is so bad!

Dry those big brown eyes and smile, dear,
Banish all those tears and please don't sigh.
Kiss me once again and hold me;
Calamari Rose, goodbye!

I've heard a few songs by him (not a whole CD, though).  He has a nice voice and (I know this doesn't matter to you, BK) he's nice to look at. ;)

Here's his website:  http://www.kristophermcdowell.com/

I did his CD for the late Jerome Records.  I like Kris.

Welcome to the Wonderful World of High Definition, DR JMK. Sorry the install was a nightmare, but all that will be forgotten once you start enjoying all that great HD programming.

Thanks, DR Jane.

DR JRand, I will try to remember to ask him about Allison Hayes. That will be a HUGE litmus test for his B-movie knowledge. Of course, not being the fan of hers as you are, I won't be devastated if he's not very familiar with her.

Calamari, calamari, calamari, let him go
Be still now, I will not let you go,
Let him go
Calamari!  Calamari!

Maybe that one's too obscure, but the lyric seems to fit the photo.  :)

JRand55, I think you would dig this squid movie! It is pretty funny..and played totally straight, like it was not at all unusual for a 8 ft tall squid to be shopping in downtown Tokyo.

Much to my surprise, I got my Amazon package today as scheduled. Sad to say, I didn't get to SUPERMAN - Season 2 at all as I continued watching CSI: MIAMI. Great episode on the DVD set tonight.

All the leaves are brown and the sky is gray
I've been for a walk on a winter's day
I'd be safe and warm if I was in L.A.
Calamari wrestlin' on such a winter's day.

BK, do you think Linda Purl could use a medley in her act?

Don't praise her flicks too much
Don't post all her pics too much
People will say you're in love
