New all-time low?  I mean, I should think the football game is over by now.  And they'll all be back tomorrow, saying the usual "oh, I was busy, oh I was this, oh I was that" and we shall laugh and laugh and just when we think we can laugh no more, we shall laugh again.

Yes, you did forget to mention that.  Especially to some of us in Portland.

We had dinner at THE FARM.  Have you eaten there?  The service is slow but the vegetarian selection is rather nice and we had a delicious meal.

Mrs. Henderson Presents sounds like a fun movie.

Did I mention that I hated the new KING KONG? Oh, yes I did.

I am now going to watch SON OF KONG and maybe the Japanese KING KONG ESCAPES so that I can wipe away the horrid memories of that Peter Jackson version of KING KONG out of my brain.

I suggest SPRING PARADE, also with Robert Cummings

Is that one on DVD? I did notice that the U.K. has a few more of Deanna Durbin's films on DVD then the U.S. does.

Keith has been trashing food in bags, that hadn’t been transferred to plastic containers, and spraying our pantry with bleach.  We have had some kind of little bugs in there we were told like moisture and mold.  Then we had a moisture and mold expert come out and he didn’t find a problem there, under the house yes, but not inside the house.  The bug guy said the bugs shouldn’t be in the food and spraying the area shouldn’t make a difference.  We have to try something.

The bleach is making me rather ill so I’m off to wash the rest of the dinner dishes and get out of this part of the house.

I said that on January 1!  I saw it on New Year's Eve.  I play the soundtrack over and over.  I love the song "The Girl in the Little Green Hat."

NetFlix only has a few Deanna Durbin DVD’s.  FIRST LOVE is one of them.  The other two are combinations of THREE SMART GIRLS and SOMETHING IN THE WIND,  IT STARTED WITH EVE and CAN’T HELP SINGING.

MBarnum parts of your spoiler of KING KONG were a riot,

‘night.

elmore, I didn't know what the film was back then.  It just came to Ashland and I had only seen a couple of previews for it.  The music is wonderful.

MBarnum good news, I was confusing SPRING PARADE with IT STARTED WITH EVE, both with Bob Cummings.  CAN’T HELP SINGING is fun, giving you a good double bill.

Craig would have loved to watch the Super Bowl.  I think it is best they didn't broadcast it in Romania this year.  Now that he is working he needs to sleep-they are ten hours ahead of us.

I really want to see it again.  Tony Walton told me that besides having the sign you see in the film "We never close" the Windmill also had a sign "We never clothe."

Back from watching the Super Bowl.  The first half wasn't too exciting. But the 3rd quarter was quite something.  And that Steelers touchdown with the guy who used to be a quarterback was outstanding.

It's funny I don't really have a favorite between the two teams. But my brother-in-law is a huge Steelers fan. And I just found myself subconsciously cheering with him.  It was so funny. At one point he was holding my niece. And his team was scoring. So he was calling her the lucky baby and would not let her go. And everybody wanted to touch the lucky baby. So cute!

DR Jose already answered your question (DR MattH).  It does seem like almost every Super Bowl is held in a warm climate.  I cannot remember the last time it was up north.  But Detroit does have an enclosed stadium, so weather was not a factor.

Hello! Good heavens only 115 posts so far!!
Well, I wasn't watching football I was working on the new house....again or still....they finished ripping out carpet and all the tacks and nails and made a new door for the storm shelter (yes, a real storm shelter) I stripped wallpaper, patched a couple places and painted the bottom half of the kitchen (the top half is a slightly different color). I also moved about 35-40 boxes of dishes and books. I now have floor space in the old house to keep packing.
Tonight I watched THE CONSTANT GARDENER.  It was ok, but I saw CAPOTE last night and liked it much better.

I would love to see MRS HENDERSON PRESENTS, it just isn't anywhere around here.

Now I need to get some sleep. The plumber will be at the other house at 8:15 AM and I need to get up in time to load the car full of stuff and get there before he does.

I watched SON OF KONG and I now feel much better. It is such a cute movie...but silly. I really like Helen Mack, maybe even more then Fay Wray, and Robert Armstrong is so good as Carl Denham.
