DR RLP thanks for the A SUMMER PLACE info (and the additional ASP info, DR JMK) - I had seen that CD, but it didn't seem possible that I wouldn't have seen an LP of it in ALL these years.

I am guessing (from DR RODZINSKI's list) that YOUNGBLOOD HAWKE and SUSAN SLADE (both by Steiner) suffered similar fates vis a vis an LP release.

These television promos for the "new" PINK PANTHER starring Steve Martin are REALLY beginning to get on my nerves.  Why does this movie exist?  What is the reason for this movie?

Jennifer now we have watched MEDIUM I read your Spoilers.  I basically agree with everything you said, and Keith asked me all the same questions you did.  So I gave him my version of what happened.

Elmore I think we are going to watch BLEAKHOUSE tonight.  We have been recording it in our guestroom where we watch while sitting on the bed.  While we were waiting for the new mattress to arrive for our new bed we opted to wait to view the show-more comfortable that way.

Hmm..

Possible "Lost" spoiler...  But not likely... Nothing plot related...

I thought "Lost" was over... But it wasn't... That was one long commercial break!

Next was LOVE MONKEY which was much ado about nothing - making a music video. I didn't enjoy that major plot much at all though the camaraderie between the four guys is always enjoyable.

It's funny how we can both love some shows like Veronica Mars, Lost and The Closer.  I really loved this episode of Love Monkey.  I think that the things i like about it are similar to what i like about Courting Alex (jenna elfman).  To me they are more geared for women.  I thought this episode was cute.  And I love how Tom always finds a way to make every situation work.  HE is so loveable!

DR Jane, glad you got caught up on MEDIUM. Did you think the youngest daughter was the same?

Today I went to see my little niece. She is 4 1/2 months old. And my sister's niece and nephew (the baby's cousins) came from up north and got to see her for the first time.  The older girl (10) was in love.  IT was so much fun getting to see them again. Since they live in Iqaluit we only get to see them for 6 weeks a year (2 visits of 3 weeks).

Jennifer, Keith did.  I thought the middle child had a strong resemblance.  I couldn't get Keith to go back so I could get a second look.

Off to watch BLEAKHOUSE.

Oh...  And I realized that a friend of mine had sent me that Honda Civic link... However, it's still cool.  You do need a high-speed connection, but it's worth the wait.

http://www.honda.co.uk/civic/

Click on "Watch Civic" after the initial page loads.

It is an interesting ad....

Hello, fellow Dear Readers.

Well, I would rant today, but I'm too tired. The short story is that although the printer was delivered, the IT guy to install it never showed up or called. We waited two hours.

Hey a new soap.... The Printer Sagas!!!

I hope it gets resolved tomorrow DR Laura

George - Did you really dislike Disney's HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME PART II?  It did seem to be geared towards the age 3-to-6 set in its final released version, so you're certainly not the target audience.  :)

Anyway, Skip wrote three of the songs for it, and checks still happily come in (especially from overseas) even after all these years.  And there seemed to be a nice cluster of very good reviews from the official reviewers (although the consensus on imdb and amazon is decidedly "mixed") and it won the DVD Premiere Award for Best  Animated video premiere feature in a pretty crowded field that year.   Still, many who read the various drafts of the script thought the original script for that sequel, where the target age skewed a little older, was really excellent and exciting, but then they realized their target audience for the video sequel needed to be younger, so they had to simplify, simplify, simplify.

Now you've created interest in a DVD I would never have bothered with DR JFL! I think the Hunchback was  a great Disney animation but too old for its target. I've avoided all the "cash in quick" sequels of the Disney shows.

Speaking of annoying commercials, about two weeks ago this Republican (it figures) started running his political ad to unseat one of our Democratic senators.  The problem is that this ad is boring and stupid, it plays every afternoon in the middle of my favorite newscast, and the election is not until next November!

DR George, I don't think that's my David Horgan, but who knows? I would think if my David had credits, they would have been before 2003.

But I'm just guessing.

I quite enjoyed HUNCHBACK II for what it was. That and RETURN TO NEVERLAND were my two favorites of the sequels.

I used to like Steve Martin.  Lately he seems like a pathetic publicity whore.  This morning I caught a glimpse of him "hiding out" in a group of boy scouts on good morning america, and his "don't be a clouseau" movie previews give me hives.  I'm forgetting all of the reasons I used to enjoy him.  Ouch! I'm harsh... do you see what you've brought me to Steve Martin!! Turn it down a notch!!

Some bad news about LOVE MONKEY. When THE AMAZING RACE comes back at the end of February, it will premiere with a two hour show. The following week, it will move to its new time slot - Tuesdays at 10 p.m. The new drama THE UNIT will be shown at 9 p.m. LOVE MONKEY will no longer be on the schedule.
