President Bush said Tuesday there will be “more tough fighting ahead” in Iraq, but added that “we’re making progress” and denied claims that Iraq is in the grips of a civil war three years after the U.S.-led invasion.

I guess we should just call it a lively discusson of their disagreements; the different factions have just failed to come to a meeting of the minds and negotiations are continuing in an animated fashion

Yes....

9/11, all of the Kennedy coverage, and I will include the Robert Kennedy assassination which happened in June...and had a terrible sense of deja vu about it....then of course the Ted  Kennedy debacle....

The Moon Walk - I was in Chicago...and it was hard to believe but it was fascinating...I was disappointed that there were NO Cat Women there.

IT'S A SNOW DAY!!!!!

We got 10 inches of snow last night so I decided it was a snow day. The courthouse is still open, so I'm on call, but I don't have anything I need to go to the office for.   My snowblower had just enough gas to make a path to get the car out, but man, this is heavy snow, I had to shovel the muck at the end of the driveway from the road grader.  That wasn't too fun

Shoveled a bit today, but wet snow that was easy to do....just a couple of inches on the drive and sidewalk.

TOD - 9/11 of course.  I left for work without turning on the tv. I heard a plane hit the tower on the radio and when I got to the Federal Building I ended up in Senator Grassley's local office (ironic considering my political affiliation) but they were right inside the door and had a TV. We watched the second plane hit. A couple minutes later we were evacuated from the building for the day.

Space Shuttle - I was in law school and was home watching TV either before or between classes.  I watched the take-off and just sat there in shock watching it over and over..I was in a daze as I went to my class. I think I only went to one and just went home, I couldn't focus.

I know I watched the first moon walk, but I was quite young don't remember it much.

The space walks to reapair the Hubble fascinated me. I mean they were in space speeding around the earth and it was way cool to me.

Waco and the burning of the Branch Davidians really made me sad.   It was even sadder after I saw the photos from the trial with the agents posing with their guns with flames in the background and huge smiles on their faces...sick.

The US Hockey team win in whatever year Olympics  that was.  I remember jumping up and down and dancing around the room.

The last second shot in the NCAA championship in 1987 between Syracuse and Indiana - I won $535 on that shot. It's rare that I gamble, so I'll never forget that one!

All the Philadelphia weathermen have stated that there will be no snow for us--it's all supposed to stay to our south.  And yet the animated doppler radar on weather.com shows a massive amount of something headed straight our way.  Who are we to believe?

Since we've had very little snow this year, it's really quite nice. Especially since it doesn't last long this time of year

Everyone remembers The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show, but does anyone remember who else was on that night?

Of course not!  There was only one act of importance that night. :)

Elmore!!! How are you feeling, you graceful little gazelle, you?

Cillaliz - gawjust photos! Here in LA, of course, it is the first day of spring, and the sky is an impossible Heavenly BLUE, and the sun shines on everything!! Oh, my! Another spring!!! Birds hopping around with little bits of nesting material in their tiny beaks. Yesterday when I took my sister's dawg out to the park, we watched some small birds building a wonderful tubular sort of nest, hanging from a tree branch. Oh, I just love it! Birds and sun and dawgs and a blue blue sky and music and and and... whatta life!!!

Cold.

That's what it is here today.

Cold.

Cold feet.  Cold hands.  Cold shoulder blades.  Cold knees.

Brrrrr.

Congratulations to Anthony on his part.  i concur with TPunk, the same though came to my mind (well I didn't know who her mother was but it makes perfect sense!)  I am assuming the father to be no more that 40

I saw on Broadway and Tom Bosley played the part.  He's much older than 40 and played it as much older than 40.
