Well, you've read the notes, the notes managed to escape the black hole of Calcutta, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently in the black hole of Calcutta driving around.

And the word of the day is: ANGARY!
-
Welcome ten GUESTS.
-
Yes, I'm still up. I had to write a couple of important e-mails.
-
I ate at the Claim Jumper last night - had the crab wedge salad, which was very, very good.
-
And so to bed.

And so to bed.
I should hope so, after your recent lack of sleep!?!

*CONGRATULATIONS* to DR Miss Karen on her lofty new plateau! :D
I'll be over soon for some toast.

Season finale of SMALLVILLE.
Btw, Terri Hatcher was on The View this week and she said that the last 2 minutes of the show change everything for all characters!

Good morning, all! I slept an hour later and arose about 7:30. I'm reasdy to head into Toyland to check some info on an actress of 1912, Victorine Hayes, and do a bit of Brain surgery. I need to plan my schedule for Monday and Tuesday: mopping the floor with Steri-Fab, laundry, and packing are my main concerns.
I have no other plans today, and I'm ecstatic about it.

I always confuse angary with angora. (an Ed Wood reference)

I plan to play a little more of the PC game Culpa Innata. The graphics are okay, but the animation isat times laughable in a bad way. But I like the games that you have to solve puzzles to advance the plot.

Well, I expect it would be a waste of
breath ink CRT phosphor to explain to BK that his Saturday evening traffic problems on the 91-5-101 journey were normal, expectable, and quite logically explainable. (When I lived in Fullerton that was my usual route from home/work to LA).
(http://gws.maps.yahoo.com/MapImage?appid=ymaps&clat=34.023099&clon=-118.13775419163&mlat=34.023099&mlon=-117.955794&ims=516000&locale=us&imf=png&imw=620&imh=500&cltype=onnetwork&.intl=us)
The 101 Freeway is the only N/S highway thru downtown LA. Right near city hall is a giant "merge" where traffic arriving from the south via the 110. 710, and 5 (which has earlier feeds from the 91 and 605) and from the east via the 10 and 60 all compete to occupy the same four lanes under the city. Any traffic disruption can cause giant back-ups which can take hours to unfold.
And there are no plans in sight to relieve the congestion: attempts to widen freeways or add additional freeways are all shot down by the local communitites effected.
der Brucer
NOTE The theatre is near the lower-left corner by the "91". BKs home environment is in the upper left hand corner on the 101 west of the 134 and 170 junction.

Good morning!
Another cool morning, but it's clouding up as I sit here typing, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if we don't have rain this afternoon.
-
After I read the newspaper and had my morning oatmeal (apple and cinnamon), I mowed the side strip of grass in my back yard. I still have the backyard to go, but didn't want to do that this morning. It's not at all overgrown, and that side strip tends to grow much faster and more out of control.
Glad I got it done if it does indeed rain later today.
-
Today I'll be finishing the second half of MY NAME IS EARL along with finally getting to watch THE OFFICE, all of which I'll do as I cook and eat lunch.
-
Then, I'll spend the remainder of the afternoon with THE INVADERS. There are only three episodes on disc three, so I should be on disc four by this evening.

TV Reminders:

THE TUDORS
-
If DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES does indeed jump forward in time (not a spoiler; it's an unsubstantiated rumor), I'm hoping Lynette will be standing over the gravestone of Kayla. And hopefully, Tom will have generated a few more brain cells instead of constantly being so clueless about things happening right before his eyes.

So many things happening yesterday on HHW....
DR MATTH got invaded, DR MBARNUM was walking strange pitbulls, DR MISS KAREN reached 4000 posts and is proofing, DR DAKOTACELT is taping digital to analog, DR JENNIFER can't read her Soap Board, MR BK had an unexpected substitute reed, DR SWW went on the No Days Off schedule, and well it just goes on and on.....this is not even mentioning the Song of the Day, DR derBRUCER's Ted Kennedy bulletin, DR JOSE's photos OR DR GINNY's information waitressing and the return of DH RICHARD from Wisconsin....or DR FJL's upcoming travel plans....
Whew! But now it is Sunday!
-
Well today is the first session of auditions for my production of Arthur Miller's play "All My Sons." I am hoping to get good people for at least five of the roles.....of course we have another session tomorrow evening....so maybe the OTHER five will show up then.
Time will tell.
Off to the Hazel Day Longden Theatre on Round Barn Road in Greencastle, home of the Putnam County Playhouse, now in its 47th Season!

I'm feeling out of sorts this morning; not good, not bad - comme-ci, comme-ca. I read for quite a while in bed last night, after 1am, then tossed and turned most of the night. Dixie Bell woke me with sloppy wet ones at 8:15am - what was she thinking? - and even after a couple cuppas, I'm still lethargic. Just ate a nice small breakfast of blueberry waffles with syrup, maybe that will throw some energy my way. I need the energy for the grocery shopping, laundering and cooking to take care of later. . . .

ASSOCIATED PRESS (http://www.presstelegram.com/news/ci_9297573)
FILM PRODUCER SANDY HOWARD DIES AT AGE 80
He directed the 'Howdy Doody' show at just 19, produced 'Captain Kangaroo.'
LOS ANGELES - Sandy Howard, a film and television producer whose credits include "The Island of Dr. Moreau" and the 1970s Western "A Man Called Horse," has died. He was 80.
Howard died Friday at the Motion Picture and Television Fund's hospital in Woodland Hills from complications due to Alzheimer's disease, spokeswoman Jaime Larkin told The Associated Press.
...
Born in the Bronx, New York, Howard started his career as a publicist for Broadway shows before directing TV's "Howdy Doody" at age 19, according to the Motion Picture and Television Fund.
He went on to produce "Captain Kangaroo," then became executive producer for "The Barry Gray Radio Show" from 1951 to 1958, the fund said.
In the '60s, Howard moved to Hollywood to pursue a career in film.
He produced dozens of movies, including '70s films "Echoes of a Summer" with Jodie Foster, "The Island of Dr. Moreau" starring Burt Lancaster and "Meteor" with Sean Connery.

Something to make all of us feel a little better:
When you have a 'I Hate My Job' day, [even if retired you have those sometimes] try this: On your way home from work, stop at your pharmacy and go to the thermometer section and purchase a rectal thermometer made by Johnson & Johnson Be very sure you get this brand. When you get home, lock your doors, draw the curtains and disconnect the phone so you will not be disturbed. Change into very comfortable clothing and sit in your favorite chair. Open the package and remove the thermometer. Now, carefully place it on a table or a surface so that it will not become chipped or broken. Now the fun part begins. Take out the literature from the box and read it carefully. You will notice that in small print there is a statement: 'Every Rectal Thermometer made by Johnson & Johnson is personally tested and then sanitized. ' Now, close your eyes and repeat out loud five times,'I am so glad I do not work in the thermometer quality control department at Johnson & Johnson.' HAVE A NICE DAY AND REMEMBER, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE WITH A JOB THAT IS MORE OF A PAIN IN THE BUTT THAN YOURS!

bk - As for the unexplained and unknown reasons for the traffic last night, well, just remember, they're only unexplained and unknown to you. ;)
*Additionally, I'm guessing by the time you were approaching the downtown area of L.A., the Lakers' game at the Staples Center was getting out, along with the audience from the Disney Concert Hall from last night's L.A. I understand all the ideas being presented to me as reasons for terrible traffic - however, the one idea that hasn't been presented is WHERE DO ALL THE CARS GO, because automatically, suddenly, and swiftly, there are no more cars and instead of doing five miles an hour we're doing seventy - and I'm talking instantly not a slow build up. The only explanation is the one I've offered as the title of today's notes.

Imagine you are part of a large crowd waiting to enter a large terminal through its only entrance, a revolving door. You stand many minutes in the line waiting your turn at the door, but once through it's clear sailing because while you were waiting in line, the crowd inside had time to disperse.
Or:
Imagine a entire hotel with each and ever tub filled to the brim, each with a dozen rubber duckies floating on top. Assume all the drains are connected to a common pipe that empties onto the street outside.
All the patrons pull the tub plugs at once. Water starts rushing out through the pipe carrying rubber duckies lickety spit down the street. From your perspective in Room 1206, it looks like your duckies are never going to get moving - it might take an hour before it's your tub's turn to drain; but once they make it down the pipe, they're free to paddle away at top speed.

I finally got around to the season finale of THE OFFICE.
Hilarious from beginning to end. Loved the romance with Jim and Pam (and the HUGE non-payoff).
I was sure the new HR rep was going to be on a wanted poster at the grocery store and that Toby would have to return. (And I absolutely LOVE Toby, so I hope this is just a plot device and that he'll be back.) Lots of surprises and lots of fun. I'm going to miss the show over the summer.
-
My schedule has been revised. The store manager, Mike, has determined that it is not a good idea for me to go two weeks in a row without a day off, so he's insisted that I take Tuesday off.
(Monday is a major training day for me. Sorry, I won't be scorekeeping, you'll all have to rely on der B instead.)
-
Truth to tell, I wouldn't mind having Tuesday as a regular day off. Starting June 3rd, the Rehoboth Beach Farmer's Market (http://www.rbfarmersmarket.com/) will be running every Tuesday - it's always a good excuse for getting der B out of the house and makes for a totally different kind of vegetating.
-
...Or for not what kind of footware to wear when you're going fishing. ;)
Why, those are Coast Guard approved deck shoes!
-
Next, I began watching the episodes on disc 3 of THE INVADERS.
The first one I watched is one of the best in this first season set (that I've seen thus far) with Susan Strasberg and William Talman, and James Whitmore. We knew from the start that Talman was an alien but trying to decide who to trust between the other two was very challenging. Too bad that David Vincent chose the wrong one. I would have, too.
-
The second episode guest starred Michael Rennie and was an episode about brainwashing David to persuade him that the invaders were in his mind. Very good episode, too, though the ending was weak.
-
This second episode also had the audio commentary that I listened to with series creator Larry Cohen. Really rambled a bit too much about his previous career in TV (created BRANDED, CORONET BLUE, and wrote for shows like THE DEFENDERS, US STEEL HOUR, DESILU PLAYHOUSE) and didn't give nearly as much information about THE INVADERS that I'm sure fans of the show would want. But then, after he sold the idea, provided outlines for about twenty scripts, and ABC put Quinn Martin on as production supervisor, he didn't have a lot to do with the show on a day-to-day basis. Not overly complimentary about Roy Thinnes either (thought he lacked a sense of humor; um, the scripts were written that way) though he said he and Roy were friends now (not back then).
-
And the third episode involved a training academy for the aliens on being "more human." The guest stars were Jack Warden and Susan Oliver.
Some BAD continuity gaffes with this one. They show David's driver's license, and it has him as 5'9" with brown eyes. We all know Roy Thinnes has BLUE, BLUE eyes. Later in the same episode, they are reading from his license and say he's 5'11". Oops!
-
I have the fourth disc in the set all cued up to begin watching when I go back downstairs. Looks like I won't quite make it off disc 4 before DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES comes on.
-
Let me see if this will work. A friend of mine just sent me a photo he took of the ad. I'll see if it works.

Well, you've read the notes, the notes managed to escape the black hole of Calcutta, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently in the black hole of Calcutta driving around.
As it turns out, those cows wouldn't have been driving anywhere if they were in the original Black Hole of Calcutta.
The Black Hole of Calcutta was a prison cell measuring 14 by 18 feet (252 square feet). Reputedly, in 1756 some 146 British troops and such were stuffed into said prison cell for an overnight stay. Of those 146 prisoners, 123 reputedly died that night from suffocation, heat exhaustion, and crushing.
No room for cows. No room for cars.
Personally, I have doubts about the story. I remember seeing that many dancers crowd onto a similar sized dance floor during the height of the disco era with no ill effects.

DR S Woody that was very funny!
I am going to go now to eat (i am hungry). And i think i may watch the 3rd episode of Season Two of DEXTER. I am finding a bit more gore (vs the CBS version).
I also started an episode of a new show called STEP IT UP AND DANCE. I'm not sure how far along this is in the US. But i didn't think we got it in Canada. But i just saw that it is on the W network (although they are on episode 4 the STOMP one, so i missed the others).
I think this week also starts SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE (one of my favorites). And i notice the SUPERMODEL show (can't remember the exact name) will air here starting this wed in the AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL slot. Looking forward to that.

Oh and for now even though my internet provider said i could no longer access my newsgroups, i am now able to again! Yeah!
-
I've finished revising Nudie Musical - doing all sorts of little things - additions, subtractions, fixes, and I finished an act two ballad rewrite - wasn't happy with the original tune or lyric and it's much better now. Most importantly, I think I fixed the finale so that it's much more theatrical and fun - it involves a reprise of one of the songs (one of the new songs), and I think it's fun.
-
We're STILL on page four?

Will we never get to page five.

Well, if she was on THE VIEW and all but confirmed it, then it's not a spoiler and hence no need for a spoiler space. Eva Longoria has also all but said the same thing, and that was two weeks ago. Again, after that long a time, it ceases being a spoiler when it's a matter of public record.
-
Now, I'm going to head downstairs, clean the guest bath, put up my folded laundry, and then head back to the den theater for more adventures with David Vincent.
WBBL.

Dear BK,
This is a stupid question, but will there be nudity in TFNM?
-
Season four of The Next Food Network Star (http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show_nf/) will start airing on Sunday, June 1st.
Consider yourselves warned.
;)
-
Will any of the cast of TFNM be required to perform stunts?
:D
-
Along with the usual challenges at work, I have a new one.
Kerri, who is young and pert and perky and young and cute and young ... How young is Kerri? She has no idea who a lot of the stars of the past are. She simply cannot identify them by name, or if she has ever seen them in their signature roles. She is not alone in this, it turns out. Several of my coworkers who are her age cannot identify such people as Doris Day or Gregory Peck. It's startling, but true. The stars of yesteryear are simply beyond the range of these youngsters' radar.
I have determined to change this. I'm going to start loaning her some DVDs from our collection. One at a time, so as to not burn her out by going too fast. I'm thinking of starting with Singin' In the Rain - what better than a film that is about the film industry itself, and at a significant turning point in the industry's history.
I'm pretty sure that in the future I'll be loaning her such films as:
The Adventures of Robin Hood
Casablanca
Auntie Mame
The Music Man
To Kill a Mockingbird
I just don't have a clue as to any order, or what I'll be following these selections with.
The good news is that Kerri seems to be interested. This could be fun!

Seriously, DR TCB, what a nice ad!
Thanks, elmore. BTW, it is THE OLD TCB AND THE SEA.

Quote from Michael S.
Casting For Nudie Musical
Harry-Raúl Esparza or Brent Barrett
Rosie--Susan Egan or Rachel York
George-Jason Graae or Danny Burstein
Susie-Kerry Butler or Kelli O'Hara
John-Roger Bart or Christopher Sieber
Eunice-Fantasia or Marissa Jane Winouker
Mary La Rue*
Eddie-Gregory Jbara
Juanita-Emily Skinner or Alice Ripley
Did BK ever say who was on the list that he would like to use in the reading or the production?
-
DR TCB, that is a very nice photo and a very nice ad. I hope the paycheck comes quickly!
-
As for the DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES spoiler - there was a line delivered by Susan in the episode before last which confirmed the theory for me. . . . .

DR TCB, that is a very nice photo and a very nice ad. I hope the paycheck comes quickly!
Thanks, Laura, I hope so, too.

-
Yes, there will be total male and female nudity in the stage Nudie, from the ensemble.
The person on Shayne's list that I was going to definitely use for the reading (if he's available) is Greg Jbara as Eddie, the backer. Couldn't do better than that.

P.S. That is not a picture of Coleslaw in the fairy princess outfit.

If any of you have let your subsription to the News Tribune lapse, you can get a semi-preview of the picture by going to http://www.multicare.org/
There is a mini-slide show at the site, and one of the five photos is of me in my rowboat. Unfortunately, this one looks like I was halfway across the lake when it was taken.

' Now, close your eyes and repeat out loud five times,'I am so glad I do not work in the thermometer quality control department at Johnson & Johnson.' HAVE A NICE DAY AND REMEMBER, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE WITH A JOB THAT IS MORE OF A PAIN IN THE BUTT THAN YOURS!
;D

Spent the afternoon hunting the gravesites of famous dead people - in the rain. Photos later...

..or tomorrow. I don't think I'm going to be able to stay awake much longer!

I worked for about 3 1/2 hours at the office then came home and hung blinds in 4 windows and spray painted a couple wooden boxes I'm going to use as planters

DR Cillaliz - just reading about your work ethic exhausts me! :)
LOL, I enjoy working, both on the house and at the office, so although it wears me out, I'm smiling
-
If I can just get the house vacuumed before bed, I'll have all my list done, but I don't think it's gonna happen
-
I do have to pay bills tonight, though. Yuck
-
I suppose I'd better finish getting dinner ready.
Pasta (rigitoni and medium shells, mixed) with a sauce of sweet Italian sausage, onion, bell pepper, crushed tomatoes, thinned down with dry vermouth, and some herbage thrown in.
I'll have some garlic bread ready on the side.
-
Td, thanks for the links-especially the Pittsburgh ones.
TCB-LOOKING GOOD! :D
-
Slow here today.
Tomorrow should be busier.
-
Pasta sounds good. I didn't eat very well all week. It was just to chaotic. I don't like that. I took some trail mix to the office so I'm not just eating junk, but even that isn't the same as a meal.
-
It's been beautiful here today. All the flowering trees and bushes are still in full bloom. The temp was cool but warm enough to open up the windows and air the house out. Not the best for the allergies, but I love having fresh air in here.
-
Cillaliz, did you take any pictures?

My schedule has been revised. The store manager, Mike, has determined that it is not a good idea for me to go two weeks in a row without a day off, so he's insisted that I take Tuesday off.
Thanks goodness you are getting one day off to rest!

I keep forgetting to go to our Tuesday Grower's market. I tend to do that. ;D

I'm also a fan of the THIN MAN films. Another favorite is THE MAD MISS MANTON with Barbara Stanwyck & Henry Fonda.
-
Been watching a motion picture on DVD. Had In and Out for lunch. And just found out that the American Cinematheque at the Egyptian is showing a brand new 70mm print of Khartoum, which was shot in Ultra Panavision 70 (like Ben-Hur and Mutiny On The Bounty. Even though their screen isn't really big enough, it's too tempting not to go, especially since I've never seen Khartoum.

Nope, we are going up to have lunch with Fred on Thursday, but we are going to see the show on Saturday.

It was our experience that it can take a week to get an inspector out to look at one thing.

I have never seen THE PENGUIN POOL MURDER, who is in that film?
It is a wonderful movie TCB! And one of DR Elmore's favorites as well...it stars Edna Mae Oliver and James Gleasonl...Mae Clarke and Robert Armstrong are also in it.

Will you be going to see it tonight? On your way home, be careful of the traffic coming from THE BRAIN FROM PLANET X.

And I would say that as someone who followed all the rules, it is very unfair for the tv show project to get special treatment in scheduling inspectors.

I keep forgetting to go to our Tuesday Grower's market. I tend to do that. ;D
I am more and more a fan of farmer's markets and the like. The produce is local, seasonal, fresher. They put us in a better connection with the food we eat, and that's a good thing.

I cant wait until the one here opens up for the season.. I have gotten fresh bison ever so often. I love the fresh raspberries.

I'm going to make an early night of it. Hasta la.

Thanks. Posting the photo from an email pic is one more thing I can do on my computer I could not do on my laptop, as least not without Keith's assistance.
-
I really wonder what sort of breaks they are getting....
I don't think they are exactly getting breaks. They are building houses for charity and on a deadline. I doubt they have much trouble getting a willing inspector to go out there on a daily basis for a national television show.
-
It is also likely they are paying extra fees for the speedy inspections.
-
But concrete takes time to cure, doesn't it? You can't just pour it and then begin building on it.

Depends on the mixture used. There is some quick drying cement but still takes a bit of time to cure.

Thanks Woody. I actually had a good meal last night, a big breakfast yesterday morning and had an ok dinner tonight. And I've been drinking my milk and my V8 and eating fruit. Things will still be busy, but will balance out soon. With my insane April immediately followed by the trip to New York and then a bunch of new cases all at once I was swamped and needed to power through and catch up. I'm not quite there, so I'm not taking any new consultations for a couple weeks. It will all work out
-
Why would I remember this department: When Khartoum was first scheduled for NBC Saturday Night at The Movies they ran a theatrical teaser with a pull quote that said "Charlton Heston is looking down the throat of another Oscar." I remember thinking--Oscars have throats?
Some sad news--I just read over on the A&M Board that legendary recording engineer Larry Levine died a few days ago. BK's close personal friend Cissy Wechter posted a nice tribute on the guestbook.
-
And I would say that as someone who followed all the rules, it is very unfair for the tv show project to get special treatment in scheduling inspectors.
On the other hand, who knows how far in advance they booked everything.

I suppose.

DR MattH i totally disagree about what constitutes a spoiler. If it will spoil an unaired show then it is a spoiler. All the soap stories are spoiled in Soap opera digest. Does that not make them spoilers?
Teri hatcher was asked point blank a question. I don't think she was supposed to say. But she did not want to lie.
If i had not seen that show, i don't think i would have wanted to know the info. Hence it would have been a spoiler for me. I just wanted to give others here the courtesy. I don't see why people who don't want to know should have to know.

Wasn't that katherine's hubby adam? I didn't recognize him at first either for some reason. Probably because he had his face smashed for most of the show. Very interesting ending! Actually i'm adding this part. Yep it was gale harold (some might also know him from VANISHED). It is weird but a lot of people on the televisionwithoutpity board (who did not read the spoilers thought it was adam as well). They look a lot a like!
Btw after watching the end i was not sure whether the show would start next season 5 years in advance. Or do LOSt style flashbacks to see how we got there. It seems like they are doing the former. They will be starting next season 5 years ahead. So all of the kids (lynnette's kids, julie, dylan, danielle ...) are gone. It will be interesting to see if mike is on. I don't see why he couldn't be on.

Let me know if you need one or more of our allotment of half-price (6 measly dollars, regular price is 12 measly dollars :) ) staff-rate tickets.
George and TCB - I actually have the right to get six more tix at the $6 half-price, so if you know anyone who could help us have an enthusiastic audience...

RE; DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES.
Wasn't that Gale Harold, who played Brian on QUEER AS FOLK for five seasons?
-
I spent the first 2 1/2 hours of this evening watching three more episodes of THE INVADERS.
In the first, David takes a computer tape that contains information the aliens need to retrieve. This is the first episode that featured a genuine love interest for David.
Ed Begley was the principal guest star, and the love interest was played by Laura Devon.
-
RE; DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES.
Wasn't that Gale Harold, who played Brian on QUEER AS FOLK for five seasons?
Yep. I knew there was someone's name in the opening credits whose presence I was watching for. . .I got too involved in The Mayfair Saga (amongst other assorted sagas) to think of Gale Harold. . .
-
The second one featured a machine the aliens controlled that could cause hurricanes. Joseph Campanella was the principal guest in this one.
-
And the third featured Robert Walker, Jr. as an alien whose touch could freeze people to death. Lynn Loring (who was married to Roy Thinnes at the time) was also a guest star.
-
Next, while the DVR recorded HOUSEWIVES, I watched THE TUDORS "live." Poor Anne! Poor George! Poor Mark! Heads are about to roll!
-
As for DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, nice two episodes to wrap up the season. Loved Tom's speech to the men. He DID grow some brain cells after all!
-
The cbs soap board. I watch Y&R.
I watch YR from time to time but I actually have been enjoying GL and ATWT as of late.
But damn, I just wish they would let gay relationship precede.
-
The second one featured a machine the aliens controlled that could cause hurricanes. Joseph Campanella was the principal guest in this one.
I remember when Joseph CAmpenella was on DOOL. He played Harper Deveraux....

Well, I went to bed VERY late last night, so tonight, I'm going to turn in earlier.
Good night!
-
I remember when Joseph CAmpenella was on DOOL. He played Harper Deveraux....
He's always been one of my favs. I remember him on so many shows from his own series to guesting on others' series.
-
And now I'm REALLY going!
;D
-
I think there will be alot on ATWT re: the gay storyline next week (3 days at least).
-
Good Evening!
Well, I've been doing a little this-a and little that-a... with an emphasis on what-I-don't know.
????
-
DR Jennifer - It wasn't a spoiler to say that something BIG was going to be revealed in the final minutes of a season finale of a TV show. Something BIG ALWAYS happens in the final minutes of a season finale of a TV show. A cliffhanger is a cliffhanger is a cliffhanger.
-
Wasn't Cliff Hanger a porn star from the late 1980"s?
-
In other news...
After checking my schedule for this upcoming week, I will be entering Grey Gardens, flying over the rooftops of London, as well as getting some nice work (which I got/get). ;)
-
Wasn't Cliff Hanger a porn star from the late 1980"s?
Not really. I think it was more a "comment" on Cliff's "hanger".

Jose - With your new smiling avatar, when you say something clever/bitchy in your post, it looks like you're laughing slyly at your own joke. :)
Me? Clever and bitchy?

Well, even though I don't start working/playing until 12:30 tomorrow, I am going to try my darndest to get to sleep sooner rather than later. I do not want to be finally falling asleep as I start to hear the birds outside greeting the sunrise. So...
Goodnight.

So, 9:30 is the new official time for haineshisway.com to close? Have I got that right?
-
Nobody here but us chickens. And us chickens just got back from the 70mm showing of Khartoum, about which more later.

Perhaps I'll have a bagel - or, maybe some strawberries and whipped cream. Or maybe both.

Mr. Geissman has informed me he can't work tomorrow - which is unfortunate, since I cleared my entire day. We're going to try for Tuesday evening.

And now, I must shower and get dressed, then go to my sister's house to help her clean up the shed in her back yard, then she'll come to my house and help me clean up my TV room. Until later!
Well, neither of us wanted to clean my TV room...especially me. ;) It was too darn hot (a Cole Porter reference), so I just came home after helping my sister organize her shed (it didn't need to be "cleaned") and I watched two episodes of "Torchwood" and then tonight's "Desperate Housewives."
OMG!!!!! :o (in reference to "Desperate Housewives")

Let me see if this will work. A friend of mine just sent me a photo he took of the ad. I'll see if it works.

Boy, they weren't kidding when they said it was going to warm up. It is 107F. Didn't I just have the windows open a couple days ago because it was so nice out?
It got up to at least 87°F up in my bedroom this afternoon...where the only window is a skylight that can't be opened. :P

Great news, BK!

And I would say that as someone who followed all the rules, it is very unfair for the tv show project to get special treatment in scheduling inspectors.
True, but if you had the budget that ABC TV has, you'd get special treatment, too. :-\

. . .and just how many OMIGOD! moments were there tonight on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES? ? ?
And WHO was that hottie in the final scene? ? ? ?
Yes, that was Gale Harold (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0363736/) who was the lead in the American version of "Queer As Folk (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0262985/)." He was also on an episode of "Grey's Anatomy," playing the injured ambulance driver with the swastika tattooed on his tummy. Bailey "fixed" it. ;)

MBarnum may be coming to the show on Saturday? Great!
TCB, what about Jed and Ann?

Good night, all. :)
