And the word of the day is: BERCEUSE!
Well, when I'm wrong I admit it.
Turns out that there are real rush tickets for I'll Eat You Last, not just student rush. $35 for the last row of the balcony in the Booth Theatre. I'll pay that, so I may see Bette after all. We (my theatre buddy and I) just have to come up with a date.
They also have real rush tickets ($37) for Pippin so I have to find a time for that.
No rush for Matilda though, but I'm not burning to see that. Based on what I read I have some reservations. Some love it, some hate it or at least don't think it's the greatest piece of Musical Theatre since Billy Elliot (which I admit I was not taken with, didn't hate it but didn't love it either).
Thank you, Ginny, and as always it was so good to see you (it was this past year, wasnt it?)
And the word of the day is: BERCEUSE!
Congratulations to DR ELMORE - you caught your prey!

Have you tried the peanut butter scented trap?
VIBES FOR LITTLE EVIE~~~~~~An extra dose.
DR John G your local library is unique, in a good way. :)I love it. It's fun, cool in summer and somehow invites you to use it.
This is what Corbin Bernsen (Jeanne Cooper's son wrote on his facebook page today):
Purgatory. Best way I can describe an indescribable day. Waiting... with swings toward the Peace of Heaven and the Fires of Hell and everything in between. And choices. Choices I never wanted to be faced with. Highs and Lows. At one point mom "left the building" - yes, she was gone, only to come back through the front door, kicking and screaming. A Doctor remarked, "I've been in this situation a thousand times before and have NEVER seen this!" The fighter is out of her corner, amazing us all. Okay, enough with descriptive BS... Long story short, rough, rough day. She's back to square one. I don't want to disclose at this point the specific "illness" though I'm sure many of you are curious. But I don't want a thousand comments about that. Not at this point. In time I will share it all. Just know that she is back in critical condition and needs your continued prayers. As for me. Honestly, I'm a bit lost, in this place - this purgatory - of truly being unsure where we are headed or what is best for her. I also toil with my choices and wonder if they are for me, for all of us... or truly for her. I'm in a haze of uncertainty about that and will be reflecting on it this evening, praying for guidance. In my heart, I see future, I see a fight and though I don't know the quality of that future I can't deny the sanctity of life. A tremendous battle raging inside. I wish I could have better news, or simply be more clear, but these words are a reflection of my state of mind. God Bless you all for your kindness here
Just got a message from a friend in Austin who just finished making a movie with Bert I. Gordon. I don't think it's a sequel to Attack of the Puppet People, but here's hoping it's just as good.
Terrence Hill, the star of many spaghetti westerns, is now my friend on Facebook, I am pleased to say.
He still looks quite good!

They even had a contest to name the color. The winner: enchilada red. Perfect for San Antonio.
Home from Toyland. Because the delivery never occurred, I got out of the office too late to hit the radiology lab. I'll try to do it first thing tomorrow morning.
Regarding yesterday's mention of NETFLIX STREAMING...although the licenses on a whole lot of films in their library expired yesterday (thankfully, all of the Vera Hruba Ralston films are still available to watch!), they managed to add a ton of titles today...lots of interesting stuff, old and new.
One thing I really love about NETFLIX STREAMING is the selection of documentaries. Some days when I feel like watching something, but nothing I have on DVD appeals to me at that moment, I always seem to find something of interest in the documentary section of NETFLIX STREAMING.
Thank you, Jane. What a sweet photo!

Thank so much to all of you, Cilla. Vibes to you from New york.
Cilla, what is Facebook etiquette? Are you supposed to acknowledge birthday wishes there?
Third off - oy and vey. Where to start?
I got an apartment - I'll be moving toward the end of the month. The DP is buying me out, so that is nice. I'll be glad to be gone from here permanently.
The helicopter show is up and running. The reviews are fine, but the show is great.
So much other crap going on (hence my absence from HHW), too much to get into. But everything seems to be fine.

DR Matthew, best of luck with all of this!
Back from an absolutely wonderful lunch with Miss Nancy Kwan. This woman is as beautiful today as she was back in 1960. And she signed close to 150 booklets, which means most people who ordered directly from Kritzerland will get a signed copy. What a doll.

You should be able to if you have wireless internet. You just do it via an Apple TV box or a BluRay player or other compatible devices.
Having celebrated their 45th anniversary season in 2011, Mexico’s "Los Folkloristas" continue their mission set in 1966 "to preserve and record the traditional music of Mexico and Latin America." Carrying more than 100 instruments in their collection, and performing music from up to 15 different countries and pre-Columbian Mexico, a performance with this seven-member ensemble is like taking a musical journey through Latin America. As ambassadors of traditional Latin folk music, "Los Folkloristas" successes include the release of more than 30 albums world-wide.

I read a story on facebook yesterday that has made me feel sick all day. A facebook friend of mine's (an author her name is Kristine Cheney) grand-daughter is very sick. They found out yesterday that she has a grapefruit size tumor near her kidney that is cancerous. I don't know this woman personally. But have followed her story for a while.
I feel so sick for this little girl (Evie they call her "Chicken"). She is maybe 3 or so. I thought maybe anyone who wants to could include her in their prayers.
Vibes for dear little Evie!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Got my first two DVDs from Netflix today.
Neither one would play in my machine.

Congratulations on catching the mouse, Elmore.
Ben, Jason is on tour with a musical, and I am wearing him out dragging him around Arizona. We were at the zoo that day. Yesterday we went to a museum.

I'm wondering if I should just cancel my subscription.

Oh! I read that you walked around your house, then saw the photo from New Mexico. Oops. I guess that your walk near your house does NOT include NM. But the photos you've shown us from your 'hood are indeed breathtaking.\
I don't look like my avatar, either.
congrts to Druxy on your mill stone
