Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a party and went round, and now it is time for you to post until the partying cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: CLINE!
-
I am watching 'Gracepoint,' DR George. I am told that they changed the ending for the American version, but who knows.
The American cast is, on the whole, a lot less photogenic than their English counterparts. :)
-
I'm with you, bk. I don't particularly enjoy parties.
-
But I am glad that your release party was a success.
The album and its cast and sound really are worth celebrating!
-
Morning all.
That is all.
-
David, have you tried completely uninstalling your browser and then re-installing it? Perhaps one or more of the settings got corrupted. Uninstalling and re-installing may correct something, thought it can't be guaranteed that it will fix the problem.
-
But I am glad that your release party was a success.
The album and its cast and sound really are worth celebrating!
Totally agree!
-
Good morning.
-
Good morning, all! I slept quite poorly last night, and the nerves in my feet would not settle down to allow me to sleep. It was quite aggravating, and I'm wondering if it's the chair I'm sitting in or my posture at City Center, since this is the first flare up of this situation in sometime.
Today is another day at City Center. I'll finish up my current task and see what new hell Joshie has for me to play with.
-
TOD:
The most fun party I ever attended was my wedding to Sandy.
All other parties are a blur.
:)
-
But I am glad that your release party was a success.

Totally agree!
I'll go with that!
-
Good morning, all.
One crazy dream after another last night. In spite of it, I had a nice solid sleep. But really. Some of these dreams have got to go, man.
-
Glad to hear the party was a success.
I'm rather like that myself. Depends greatly on the type of party and the people involved, but generally, I can have a perfectly good time -- up to a point, and then I'm outta there. I'm not the hanger-on at parties that I might have been at one time.

Awaiting the photos from the Launch Par-tay!
It sounds like so much fun.....a couple fotos showed up on BookFace.....Joanne Worley!!!
-
I usually have a good time at parties......I shall have to think about some of the more memorable ones!
-
I don't think that I could be sore (in my legs) from raking leaves. That seems odd to me (maybe my neck, arms, back). My legs are still sore today, which I still find odd since I've been biking for many weeks.
DR Jane, what muscles are different for indoor vs outdoor bicycles? i would have thought it would be the same.
-
Sometimes you have so much to do.....you feel like this.

Oy and vey, I've been up since six. Stayed in bed, but oh well.
-
I once worked with a photographer named Gary CLINE.
And I'm very fond of songs sung by Miss Patsy CLINE.
-
Sometimes, I - myself - am inclined to react like a cline, with swinging moods and going from one extreme to another.
Obviously, I'm not sure how to use it in a sentence and don't know whether it's a noun, a verb or whatever.
-
If singdaw were online and present, he would probably "Cline Every Mountain".
-
When all is said and done, I'd prefer to be reCLINEd in front of the TV right now.
That is all that I am inCLINEd to say on that subject.
-
For the nonce.
-
I watch DWTS on occasion this season. Am very much appalled at Julieanne Hough as a judge. Hate her helium voice. Dislike her hair. And her brand of perkiness makes me want to "fwow up".
None of the teams appeals to me. Don't care for any of the celebs at all.
-
I hate "Big Bang Theory" on Monday nights.
Totally throws my rhythms off.
I need that show's lunacy later in the week when it can make the final work day of the week more bearable.
Damn Thursday Night Football. Damn it all to hell.
-
I guess there's no more to say at this point.
-
Of course, that never stopped me before.
-
Page 2.
-
I said TWO!
-
TWO!
-
Two mints in one!
-
Good morning,all.
Congrats to BK on a fun party.
-
Doctor's visit this morning. She was happy with the blood work and all the numbers. I wish I could be, but I'm too tired.
-
From DR Cilla:
I'm actually proud of myself for not being a pushover and cutting this off as soon as I realized that more time isn't going to change anything and that she just doesn't have the skills I need
You should be and, as usual, you did what many wouldn't by giving her a severance pay.
-
DR George, my brother watched Broadchursh and planned on watching Gracepoint. I haven't heard if he likes it or not.
-
I don't think that I could be sore (in my legs) from raking leaves. That seems odd to me (maybe my neck, arms, back). My legs are still sore today, which I still find odd since I've been biking for many weeks.
DR Jane, what muscles are different for indoor vs outdoor bicycles? i would have thought it would be the same.
Unless I'm wrong the position on the bikes is different. You might also be using a higher tension on the indoor bike. I even find using a treadmill slightly different than walking outside.
Yes, you would think raking leaves only works the upper body but you are holding your legs different for that. I still vote for a combination of the two.
-
Oy and vey, I've been up since six. Stayed in bed, but oh well.
You are such a complainer. I've been up since 3:00 and before that I didn't get much sleep.
-
I hate "Big Bang Theory" on Monday nights.
Totally throws my rhythms off.
I need that show's lunacy later in the week when it can make the final work day of the week more bearable.
Damn Thursday Night Football. Damn it all to hell.
Why not record it and watch it later in the week?
-

Take a nap and then maybe you will also be happy ;)
-
DR CILLA LIZ you have made the right decision and yes, the right person is out there. Once we end this crazy Mercury retrograde on October 25, you are more likely to find someone with all of the qualifications.

Lovely as very nice of your co-workers.

I know a lot of fans seem to dislike Julianne Hough as a judge. I actually am really enjoying her. What I am disliking are the guest judges who have no clue what they are talking about. I think it's fine to have 3 judges with Len gone. The guest judges are annoying me by giving marks that make no sense. Um Pit Bull gave Tommy a 7 and Janel a 7. I don't see anything comparable about these two dancers.
I always loved Julianne as a pro. And I personally don't find her remarks any more harsh than what Bruno or Carrie-Ann say. She is tough but truthful. Sorry Michael sucked last week, as did Tommy. I get that they are trying. But they are terrible. They can't be surprised to get 5s or 6s.

Nice flowers. That was very thoughtful.

Yes probably a higher tension. I only raked two bags. i could see hurting if i raked for hours.

My blueberry muffins turned out very nicely.
-
Opinions on this one will forever be mixed, but today is the 50th anniversary of the NYC premiere of the film My Fair Lady.

I'm with you, bk. I don't particularly enjoy parties.
Me, either. I'm not necessarily uncomfortable at parties, but I'm not really a mingler. If someone talks to me, I certainly (for the most part) can engage and hold my own, but I'm not one to just go up to anyone and start talking.
-
I once worked with a photographer named Gary CLINE.
And I'm very fond of songs sung by Miss Patsy CLINE.
My former supervisor's name is Norma Cline...and coincidentally, her husband's name is Gary Cline, but he's not a photographer.
:)

Joshie ran out of work for me, so I am on hild until the next round of work comes in. After therapy tomorrow I may be home, in which case I will be doing laundry, which is fine.

:D
-
I got an additional two hours of sleep, then had my brief lunch meeting at Ribs USA - which seems to have new owners who are all Asian. But the pulled pork sandwich was even better than last time, although the mac-and-cheese wasn't nearly as good.
-
Someone's coming to pick up a CD at some point, the helper's coming by at some point, I picked up a package at some point, did some banking at some point, did a little writing at some point and that should be about it for the day.
-
Tuesday afternoon greeting! I helped with the book sale move for a couple of hours this morning. After lunch Richard and I went to order new kitchen countertops, the installation of which will not happen as soon as I'd like. Oh, well, at least the new dishwasher comes tomorrow and the new refrigerator on Thursday.

Good Day All:
TOD:
In my swinging bachelorete days, I went to many parties, probably over a hundred. I had a great time at most of them.
Now my days and nights are calmer (which is fine for me).
During my PARTY DAYS, I loved to sing and dance with my best friend Sandra(She is still my best friend today). Also I was known to get up and sing with the band from time to time after a few drinks, and do my impression of John Wayne from a scene from TRUE GRIT. LOL
-
The hubby and I watched AMERICAN HUSTLE the other night.
We both thought it was very good. I rate it 8/10!
-
and do my impression of John Wayne from a scene from TRUE GRIT.
I would love to hear that, DR Kate!! :)
-
DR Cillaliz - thanks very much for your suggestion. I tried Firefox, and lo and behold, it worked - I can hear the HHW Radio Show and all the sound clips.
Thank you very much!!! :D
-
LIBRARY FINDS TODAY:
DVD'S
MIDNIGHT COWBOY (I saw it many years ago)
THE WOLF OF WALL STREET
CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM
Have any DR"S seen these? Any Comments?
-
LIBRARY FINDS CONTINUED:
I also purchased a used Hard Covered book, DAUGHTER OF FORTUNE.
I did read this many years ago.
Have any DR"S read this book?
-
I got my first edition of Gone Girl today - signed - cheap - and it's going up every day.
-
Does buying it on my Kindle on the first day of release count?? ;)

We turned off WOLF OF WALL STREET and I wish we had done so sooner.
I expect MIDNIGHT COWBOY will hold up after all these years.
-
So, with DR Cillaliz and Ben's help. I was finally able to listen to the Sandy track from the forthcoming "bk" CD. It sounds gorgeous!! Can't wait to get it and listen to ALL of the songs.
-
We turned off WOLF OF WALL STREET and I wish we had done so sooner.
The clips I have seen are all that I want to see of that.
-
DR Kate I read DAUGHTER OF FORTUNE a long time ago. I basically remember the title. I don't think I was overly excited with the book.
-
This gets very funny about half way through, up until then it is just very cute.

How can we STILL be on page three?
-
CD picked up, helper come and gone and I think I am done for the day and can now relax and hopefully even snooze for a bit.
-
My blueberry muffins turned out very nicely.
I wouldn't mind one right now.
The first thing my younger niece said when I brought them was "I don't like blueberry muffins i like banana muffins" (whine) :)
-

Although with those huge brown paper bags you can fit a lot of leaves in there!

I wouldn't mind one right now.
I just ate two.
-
Yeah, for homeland season three I am first out of 11 reservations! :)
-
Another day has bit the dust.
-
I won't see my boss until week after next. He's off to Hawaii in the morning for the next 10 days.
-
I hope to be winning the lottery tonight.
I won't celebrate too much if I do. I need to come in to work tomorrow.
-
Am looking forward to my CBS lineup tonight, although I confess I'm getting a bit tired of the "NCIS" guest appearances on "NCIS: New Orleans." None of the guest shots are crucial to anything in the storyline, and I think the producers need to let the show stand on its own legs for a few episodes before doing another guest shot.
-
I have last night's "Castle" to look forward to this evening, as well. I went to bed at 10 p.m. and DVR'd it.
-
We're getting close to page 4.
-
Closer still....
-
Page 4.

I Dood It!

Sounds like a fun launch party, BK! Joanne Worley looks great in the photo!

We will have to wait to watch this. Tonight we have NEIGHBORS to watch.

Rats!
The dishwasher installation has been postponed to Saturday, because the installers are short-staffed.
-
Sorry. At least you can still wash the dishes.

Back from a three and a half mile jog - oy and vey.
-
Page four? Really?
-
And the word of the day is: CLINE!
Speaking of Cline, I am finally on IMDB. I'm on there for in independent film that I did the narration. Unfortunately, they also credit me for a Norwegian film and a Blooper Reel from the same Norwegian film, neither of which I remember doing.
Oh, Chris Cline directed the film.
-

My two favs are: Alfonso/Witney. And Janel/Val. Although I do like Lea/artem, bethany/derek and i sometimes like Sadie/Mark. The ones I do not care for are Michael, Tommy and Antonio (in that order).

DR CILLA LIZ you have made the right decision and yes, the right person is out there. Once we end this crazy Mercury retrograde on October 25, you are more likely to find someone with all of the qualifications.
Thanks! Actually I'm not even thinking about hiring right now. I'm enjoying doing everything by myself. If I get all the systems set up right, I may be able to do that for a while. I do need to do more work with my Rosetta Stone to polish up my Spanish. It's pretty good until I get with someone from El Salvardor or some parts of Guatemala - they speak a little different Spanish and I get lost
-
Beautiful flowers, Ben. What a thoughtful thing to do
-
DR Cillaliz - thanks very much for your suggestion. I tried Firefox, and lo and behold, it worked - I can hear the HHW Radio Show and all the sound clips.

When I got Clio, the law management software I couldn't get some of it to work and they told me to use Firefox. I worked. Thought it might work for you too
-
I have last night's "Castle" to look forward to this evening, as well. I went to bed at 10 p.m. and DVR'd it.

I wondered why you bought those high powered binoculors

Love the 'do'
-
Congratulations on the wonderful launch party BK
-
Elmore I have been listening to Roberta every day for my commute I really enjoy it
-
Of course, that never stopped me before.
Nor should it ever stop you.
-
Ben, what a lovely gesture from your office
-
So TCB did you make a decision about the play?

Those flowers are a tribute to not only your sister, but to you, as well.
-
Really, let us get off this damn page or there will really be hell toupee.
-
Enough is enough.
-
We're not on vacation you know.
-
Page five? Really?
-
i ndont know if it is firefox, my cable provider, this site or my computer ny my screen keeps freezing and I have to keep restaerting the computer
in any event it is tomorrow and tomorrow is a busy day so goodnoight

Nice!
-
Are you auditioning for a local production of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch"?
-
Or "The Sound of Music"?
-
;)
-
I left work pretty quickly.
-
I almost forgot that I had a meeting of the "TAO of the Dead 2" committee.
-
Theater Artists Olympia is organizing a fund raiser for November 1.
-
We're going to have some raffles and a couple of bands and tarot card readings and stuff like that.
-
I'm just watching TV now.
-
I think I'll go shower just for the halibut.
-
Meanwhile, someone get us to page six.
-
I won't be able to get us to page 6 all by myself.
-
I'm re-recording "Sweeney Todd" for those who've asked for it (there were three of you).
-
The process seemed to work for the first disc, but when I copied it, the copied discs crapped out.
-
I don't know what the hell happened, so now I'm putting each act onto its own disc.
-
That'll also make it all look a little better....
-
Act One is only 1 hour and 28 minutes and Act Two is about 56 minutes.
-
So 1 hour and 28 minutes on one disc looks a lot better than 2 hours and 24 minutes squeezed onto one disc.
-
Well...
-
...we'll...
-
...see...
-
...if...
-
...BK...
-
...will...
-
...let...
-
...me...
-
...get to...
-
PAGE SIX!!
