Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Frogger, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently playing Frogger and wondering why there is no game called Cowgger.
-
And the word of the day is: CASEOUS!
-
I currently have Frogged on my phone.
Just had to share. :)
-
At last night's show, I did get to see Jed afterwards, but we didn't get to talk for very long. I did tell him hi from HHW. :D
-
Yesterday, BK wrote:
Finished with my viewing and having an interesting conversation via PM about the Sami show for both here and NY with a producer.
That sounds very encouraging, BK! Good luck with everything!
-
We had a great cast party last evening after the show. A very good time was had by all!
-
I'm home and really should get to sleep. I am going to help with the strike of TAO's show after my show ends today. But I will definitely be home in time to watch tonight's "Mad Men."
-
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all.
First after George, after BK?
-
I do enjoy memories of those first arcade/computer game days, even though I barely got into them myself. I was very taken with Pong, and how much more simple than that can you get? I enjoyed Pac Man for about five minutes, relatively speaking, but never took the time to get even halfway decent at it. Not sure I ever played Frogger, I'm kind of sorry to say.
-
CONGRATULATIONS to DR Cillaliz on your amazing news!!!!
-
Nice find in that movie theater scene in "God Told Me To". I don't remember ever seeing that one, and now I must, I must. I wish there were more movie theater moments like that in other films, showing actual marquees of where and when I saw something.
As soon as BK said "movie theater showing Love and Death", I saw the Regent's marquee in my mind's eye. A particularly strong association, probably helped by the fact that Woody Allen movies generally opened there (and a couple at the Plaza on the other block, if I'm remembering correctly). And of course "Nudie Musical" played across the street from the Regent at the Mann Westwood.
-
Well, I can't dilly or dally too long. I have to assemble copies of "Dulcinea" and "What Does He Want of Me" and warm up on playing those decently for a couple of singers this afternoon at this fundraiser -- which will be at a vineyard, not at the place where they're doing the show this summer.
-
Good morning!
-
Congratulations, DR Cillaliz!

I hated pong. We had a boxing game I was good at and the only one I could actually play with any skill. Keith made me play it so often I screamed ;D
-
Morning all.
That is all.
-
Good morning, all! It's going to be a quiet day, I hope. I have some ZORBA wrk, and little else planned.
Yesterday, I came home from City Center to find a message from my old friend Karla Burns, whom I've not seen in about ten years. When I finish my job for Joshie, I'll call her.
-
DR CILLA LIZ is in the top 1%......but we knew that.
Belated congrats to DR TCB on his millstone.
-
We had Pong....and had to buy an extra little television so my brothers could play it and the rest of us could watch television.
I am really unhappy with the computer/telephone games of today because of the TIME they waste. There doesn't seem to be any educational value to them....they just take up time that could be spent on something else.
-
Today we have our first full dress rehearsal - no makeup.....it should be interesting. We will be doing the full show NOT the High School version.
-
Good Morning!
I liked PONG. Of course, when that came out, there was nothing else. That's the extent of my video game participation.
-
DR Kate hosted a family gathering yesterday. There were 11 of us. My little 2 yr old great nephew, who's apparently quite rambunctious, slept the entire time.
-
It's going to be 62 degrees in Buffalo today. The residents are thrilled that the snow appears to be over, but you never know.
-
Wow, congrats to Cilla!
-
We had pong. Pic have two younger brothers so of course there was always one child who could not be playing , which often led to me being set some household task or being told to do something "girly" so the boys could play together
-
Not that I'm bitter
-
I did become quite addicted to pacman. At the local bar where my friends and I would occasionally congregate they had a pacman video table the beers were a quarter and so were the games. For $5 -$10 you could have a fine night out
-
It is a beautiful day out so since I spent yesterday in the dentist office I will now flog out and enjoy the weather. Alters!
-
The temperatures are warming up here too. Today maybe a high of 60F. And tomorrow maybe 70F. Thank goodness. I am so sick of winter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I'd like to flog out, too, Vixmom. Alas, I am waiting for the church service to begin.
-
Sunday afternoon greetings! It's another beautiful spring day here in SW Ohio and we're celebrating Easter with Rob and Mary Linda. We attended their church this morning, after which Richard and I had lunch and did a little shopping. The kids came home for Rob to crash because he worked midnight-8am and got home just in time to get ready for church. Dinner's at 5.
-
I've finished my Joshiework, and my day is now my own. I'm listening to Verdi's FALSTAFF; just finished Gilbert & Sullivan's RUDDIGORE.
I'm feeling a bit nappish at the moment.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
I've been LOL at Vixmom's osts his mrning.
Is Vixmom now called Pic? Did she change her name?
-
Happy flogging, Pic!
-
I kinda like "alters," too.
-
Must get busy.
TTFN.
-
Off the dress rehearsal.
-
Went on my bike. Yeah for Spring!
-
I'm up, I'm up - well, I needed a long, excellent sleep and I guess I got it - eleven hours.
-
Of course, the entire morning and some of the afternoon has gone missing, but I really needed it.
-
Nudie also previewed with Love and Death at the Regent - one of the great nights of my life, actually.
-
It is a beautiful Spring day here, as well. EVERYONE is outside.
-
Sorry, DR Jeanne, but I can't do a good Russian accent (speaking). I'm actually pretty awful at accents in general. I have a pretty good ear, but I just can't make my voice mimic very well.
-
I did become quite addicted to pacman. At the local bar where my friends and I would occasionally congregate they had a pacman video table the beers were a quarter and so were the games. For $5 -$10 you could have a fine night out
I used to mace cool birthday cakes for the boys. The eadiest one I made was Pacman for Bryan. I made his favorite cake which was cheesecake, cut out the mouth and added eyes.
-
I could really use some new home vibes and fingers crossed.

Whatever did those poor cakes ever do to deserve being Maced? And were they still edible?

New home vibes for Jane and Keith

Lol on the mace/make. I am using my Nook.
-
Thank you for the much needed vibes.

Out of the blue, I got a phone call from the very funny, very wonderful Karla Burns. I haven't seen her since the Chicago Humanities Festival around 2005.
-
It's now act two and I have a big chunk of the show where I'm off stage. We have a filled house and a GREAT crowd! They are loving everything! :D
-
I goobered a bit at the top of my big monolog (which I haven't done since the first weekend :-\ ), but I finished well enough.
-

:)
-
After this show, I will head downtown for a while, then get something to eat, then go home.
-
Thank you DR George.
-
So, it's official... Hillary Clinton: 'I'm Running for President' (http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/hillary-clinton/hillary-clinton-says-shes-running-president-2016-n340011).
I'm happy about that...but that's just me.
-
And since we're so close...
-
PAGE THREE WHATEVER YOU WANT DANCE!!

Nudie also previewed with Love and Death at the Regent - one of the great nights of my life, actually.
Damn it to HELL! :)
That must have been incredible.
-
Lol on the mace/make. I am using my Nook.
My "flog" , "pic" and "alters" were Ipad autocorrects I was going to fix them but changed my mind when I saw the joy they brought to Jeanne

Fantastic!

I'm back, by the way, from playing the two songs at the fundraiser in the winery, where I afterwards enjoyed a remarkably good glass of local red wine, a few artisanal cheeses, and met Mother Dolores Hart who was "the other act" today. She participated in a reading from "The Trip to Bountiful" which that same theater is presenting this summer prior to "Man of La Mancha". (The theater is on the grounds of the Abbey of Regina Laudis, where she resides). She was pretty damned good.

Game of thrones season five starts in six minutes
-
I shall be unavailable until it is over
-
Had a chili, cheese and onion omelet and a bagel and did some work on the master ALS script, which I'll try to finish this evening.
-
I believe I talk about previewing with Love and Death at the Regent in the first memoir and go into detail about why it was such an incredible night.
-
Back from the Olive Garden with my brother, sister and brother-in-law. I really like their new primavera sauce.
-
~ ~ ~ CONTINUED VIBES ~ ~ ~ for DR Jane...

How did the Olive Garden feel about your relatives bringing in their own primavera sauce? ;)

It's quite the trend now, I hear. You know, with all the food allergies and dietary preferences. You bring your own sauce, or other component, and the kitchen accommodates you. You must pay a corkage fee, of course, but they call it something else. ;)
-
I wonder if Jane and Keith have made an offer (I think yes) and if it's been accepted.
House vibes for Jane and Keith.

Thank you, Vixmom. I suspected they were autocorrects, but one wonders how it could go so far off the mark.
-
Nudie also previewed with Love and Death at the Regent - one of the great nights of my life, actually.
I would have loved to have been there
Had I known about it I would have been there. I knew nothing. That was one of the times when BK did not call me with a "You MUST..."
-
I believe I talk about previewing with Love and Death at the Regent in the first memoir and go into detail about why it was such an incredible night.
I remember a lot in general, but there are a thousand events and instances such as this that are going to be so much more delicious and meaningful on a reread.
-
Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Frogger, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently playing Frogger and wondering why there is no game called Cowgger.
Because when a car hits a cow, the car gets smushed as much as the cow

For all I know, I was in Westwood that very night doing God knows what.
Hey. Is the actual date in the memoirs? I just wonder if it would be even remotely possible to figure out what I was doing then.
I'm serious.

MANY HOUSE VIBES TO JANE AND KEITH!!!!!
-
Oh let's get off this page
-
Just a couple more
-
Seriously page 3 at this time of night is very unseemly

I think this should do it

Today I went to an open house at Peirce Mansion. It's a local historic mansion in the Richardsonian Romanesque style. It has a really fun history. It served as the public museum for quite awhile, then a couple years ago the public museum got a new wonderful facility and the mansion was restored to a residence. You can have events there It has a third floor ballroom and the dining and living rooms are open and can be set up with tables, but otherwise it's all restored to the period. I'll try to post a link to some photos

It appears the photographer covering the event knew you were a VIP. You are in nearly every photo
-
THat should be a link to George Lindblade's album on facebook. He used a fisheye lens but you can get an idea of the mansion....and.....if you look closely you should be able to see me 4 different times.....hint is I was wearing a maroon shirt and blue jeans

This has better photos of the interior rooms and some history of the Mansion if anyone is interested. On a totally unrelated note, my car accident several years ago happened at the intersection right outside the mansion
-
I'm now on the Board of Trustees for the Public Museum, which includes the mansion

I'm home now and fed and am watching TV (Nashville and Grey's Anatomy), just waiting for Mad Men to come on later tonight.

I'll record The Last Man on Earth and watch that later.

He took some nice pictures of the house, Cillaliz. It looks like everyone was enjoying it.

The seller is out of town and there is also another offer. We nervously wait.

Finished with my viewing, wrote a first pass at one of the two remaining monologues and began what will be the final monologue, then finished the script for the ALS benefit. There will still be a couple more songs to insert.
-
Are you serious?
-
Eight pages on Saturday and four pages on Sunday??
-
One more page.
-
Page Five
-
There is only one solution.
-
Someone has to wake Jane up every morning at four a.m.

I didn't realize it wasn't-lol
-
That way we have at least four pages before 9:00 a.m.
-
I suggest BK be in charge of calling Jane.
-
I'm watching "Mad Men."
-
Either that, or everyone has to promise to post five more posts each time they visit the site.

I'm watching "Mad Men."
Congratulations!

;D
I was up early this morning but the light on my Nook bothered me.
-
I watched THE GOOD WIFE tonight. Do they ever not have a crisis to deal with?
-
I suggest BK be in charge of calling Jane.
We removed the phone from our bedroom so even if he was awake and called I wouldn't hear it.

That is no excuse not to post. Wear sunglasses.

At least, people should say hello when they sign on, before signing out again.

Do any celebrities ever go on the talk shows if they don't have anything to plug?
-
Do any celebrities ever go on the talk shows if they don't have anything to plug?
I wouldn't think so.
-
I remember guests on Jack Paar, Johnny Carson, and Dick Cavett that would come on the shows just to chat.
-
I guess those days are long gone.
-
Yup. Everything nowadays seems to be about plugging something...and that's not a euphemism.
;)
-
I am often awake in the wee hours of the morning. It is easier to read than chat.

oh well, it was worth a thought.

I'm watching "Mad Men."

Do what I do. Sign in when no one else is on here, and then you only have to talk to yourself.

That has never stopped me before; and it certainly never stopped SingSong.
-
I guess Jane decided that her book was more interesting than talking to us, George.
-
Go back to MAD MEN, George. I am going to bed.
-
I was going to say good night.
-
But one more post.
-
Six!
-
I guess Jane decided that her book was more interesting than talking to us, George.
I am about to read now. The backlight on the book is softer on my eyes, plus it hurts my shoulder to type while lying down.
-
G'night!

'night

I was going to say good night.
Good night, Tom.
