Well, you've read the notes, the notes were tired, and now it is time for you to post until the tired cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: TELEGNOSIS!
-
First post after BK!
-
First post after TCB.
-
George, of course, is off somewhere dreaming of Babylon.
-
Perhaps he is doing laundry.
-
That headshot session is an interesting perk!
-
I was surprised that so many people were unfamiliar with Andre Previn.
-
Just stopping in before attempting to go back to sleep.
-
Hello I must be going
-
I started devoting a sore throat last night and then suddenly felt totally exhausted. And I actually was out if the office on time yesterday! Fell asleep watching the tv not sure when.
-
But now I must get me to the office.
-
Have a lovely day all
-
Healing vibes for Dan and mike
-
its page one but I am doing the dance of threes

~ ~ ~ SURGERY & RECOVERY VIBES ~ ~ ~ for DR Druxy!!!

Wow - lots going on in the notes and in the lives of DRs.
-
Vibes for Druxy!!
-
The new campaign looks good, bk.
~ ~ ~ SUCCE$$ VIBE$!!! ~ ~ ~

Also enjoyed the Kritzerland show videos.
Videos are always good to share!

Yesterday was a long and awful work day.
I was at a health care facility that had an owner which went into bankruptcy. The state took over in receivership, but eventually decided to close it down - couldn't find a buyer. So they are desperately trying to find places for all the resident patients, and all the healthcare workers are losing their jobs.
I didn't have to tell the employees that they were losing their jobs, thankfully, but I was trying to help them sort out their health insurance options. It was very grim. And stressful.
-
Thanks as always for the videos in the notes, BK!
-
Mental and Physical health vibes for all.
-
That's great, the first of the videos in the notes is almost at 100 YouTube views so quickly!
-
Good morning, all.
Coffee!
More coffee!
-
I started devoting a sore throat last night
(I would never devote one of those for fear it would stick around all the longer.)
Sore Throat Be Gone Vibes for vixmom!
-
That sounds like a grim, sad day indeed, DR SingShower.
-
I was surprised that so many people were unfamiliar with Andre Previn.
Thou sayest. Seriously. What the HELL! :)
-
Good morning, all! At 3:00am I was once again awakened by illness. I don't know if I'm physically down because I'm mentally stressed or if I'm mentally stressed because I'm physically ill.
As opposed to yesterday's vivid dreams, I remember nothing of last night's now except a table loaded with a fantastic meal.
-
I am home today. i have a bit of Moross work to accomplish and that's about it.

It sounds difficult. Are you done there or do you need to return?
-
Mental and Physical health vibes for all.
Ditto!!!!!
-
Terrible DR SINGDAW! I am sure you were a great help to them in their time of need.....they certainly have many more options than they used to.
-
I agree DR TCB. The only people excited about it are the people on the board who want to play parts in those shows......it is always thus.....
-
Thanks to all for the vibes for rehearsal last night. Everyone did a good job....especially for begin gone for three days.
Sonora's blonde hair looks nice, and her mother had ALL of her costumes there...and they really are great.
Tonight is "family" night wherein families of cast members can come and take photos and see the show....a dress rehearsal.
INTO THE WOODS is not supposed to be in rehearsal center....they have been a pain in the neck during the last two weeks.....but we only have to deal with them twice more..... I am sure they feel the same way.
I also bought some disinfectant air spray for the Men's Dressing Room so it won't smell like old tennis shoes.....and some BLACK socks for those cast members who need them.....I bought four pairs....which tells you something.
-
Tuesday morning greetings! I had a 9am breakfast meeting with the AAUW fill-in treasurers at the home of one them, after which I did a little Target shopping. Home now to catch up on my usual morning routine and stay out of the rain that's predicted.
-
What kind of a musician contingent do you employ for the musicals, DR Jrand64? I'm wondering about 1776 in particular, which of course you may not know yet. But generally, how many pieces, etc.?
-
I just took a
sh load of books and scores (yes! finally! scores!) to the dropoff place so they can be included in the local library sale this fall.
This was the easiest and run-of-the-mill stuff to donate, mostly opera vocal scores that were going to continue taking up valuable space without EVER being looked at again. Stuff that's easy to listen to and appreciate without following along. There is, of course, a host of "good stuff" that I'll never part with. But I need to lighten my burthen, and this helps immensely. I have other music that's more unusual and expensive that I'm willing to let go, but it needs to go to some individual or organization who I KNOW will have the appreciation and use for it. Not that that can ever be guaranteed, but I'll do what I can to get it to good homes.
-
I'm up, I'm up - I got about nine hours of blessed sleep and must now catch up.
-
Good Afternoon to all
-
Vibes to Druxy
-
I was without wi-fi from last night until this afternoon.
-
The Sami Perks look great.
-
I will wait to see how my recover comes along as I might want to take a trip to LA, but I want to make sure I will be able to fly those long hours.
-
Hey! What happened to my four-day weekend? Harrumph!
-
My car is packed for my house-sitting gig. Will stop at cleaner's on the way there. Weather is supposed to be nice this week, so I'll really be enjoying the deck and view.
-
This month is racing by like a cheetah with the trots.
-
DR CHAS SMITH we have piano, keyboard, bass guitar, drums/percussion, and sometimes a woodwind and/or brass instrument.....
-
I shall soon be on my way in the rain for family night.

That's terrible! :( I can't imagine having to deal with that. And hopefully, it all works out for the patients and the employees!!
-
Are you done there or do you need to return?
Don't know yet. Nothing scheduled immediately. I am hoping I don't have to go back. Too depressing.
-

But of course! I'm sure you will want to look your best for the chickens.
-
Page Two grows weary.
-
Weary and dreary.
-
I really need to clean tonight; we have a houseguest coming tomorrow.
-
How I wish I still lived in Bethel, CT - I'd just love to peruse DR ChasSmith's pile of discards!!!
-
Today's title, "The Tired Notes," seems to be leaking some attitude onto today's posts.
-
But we stalwart DRs shall soldier on.
-
We shall gird our loins, cross our arms, and whistle a happy tune.
-
We shall reach, at least, page three, and no one will stop us!
-
Just let 'em try!!!
-
We'll have DR Ron Pulliam unleash the menagerie!
-
I am listening to the CD of TWO FOR THE SEESAW* playing on the Big Speakers.
*Note: not to be confused with TWO FOR THE SINGDAW, of which the history books tell us little.
-
And now for something completely different...file this under: SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!! (http://shop.startrek.com/detail.php?p=866906&ecid=PRF-STRK-000669&pa=startrek.com_communicator_editorial_07072015)

I gotta tell you.

Back from a turkey sandwich to tide me over till late supper.

of which the history books tell us little.
And with good reason.

My computer has been down most of the day. I did accomplish some work on the Moross score and the Appendix Jubilee number. I have three more parts to copy at my leisure, so it should be finished by the weekend and off my desk.
-
Not really expecting folks here to contribute to Sami's mom's campaign unless it's for the CD or music, but you should go to the gallery section on the Indiegogo page and see the clips from the show - they're fun.
-
Good evening!
-
Vibes for DR Druxy!
-
One of my FB friends posted a link to an article about a planned James Bond: 007 musical.
He wrote:
Word on the street is they hired a novelist to write the book and a country songwriter to do the score. Why don't they save time and trouble and just set twenty million dollars on fire?
;D

What I can hear of the score, it sounds like a real knockout!

Richard has developed a cold that he blames on last week's airplane travel.

Richard has developed a cold that he blames on last week's airplane travel.
NOOOO!! :(
-
I don't think I can take much more of this page.
-
Page three? Really?
-
Well, I must be off.
-
Time to go home.
-
I need to do a little laundry.
-
I avoided it this weekend because of the heat and the heat of the dryer.
-
It's cooler today than it has been, so I can stand the heat of the dryer.
-
:)
-
And now, I'm off!
-
Be back later.
-
But hey...
-
...since...
-
...we're so close...
-
4OUR
-
And NOW, I'm leaving!
-
Good evening, all.
-
It's been a long, been a long, been a long, been a long day.
-
To quote Frank Loesser.
-
Glad it's nearing an end.
-
The mold count is once again in the stratosphere and I've been sneezing uncontrollably.
-
Vibes for Druxy.
Vibes for Vixmom.
Vibes for Elmore.
Vibes for Michael.
Vibes for grabs. Take as many as you need.
-
Singdaw, I do not envy you your work, but I'm glad for the people's sake that you're there to help them.
-
Watching an Arthur Miller play tonight called Memory of Two Mondays.
Great cast: Jack Warden, Dick Van Patten, Bernard Hughes, Estelle Parsons.
-
Gratuitous post No. 100!
-
Cranberries!
-
Underpants!
-
I did scenes from A Memory of Two Mondays in high school drama class - that, and View from the Bridge.
-
Time to get to work.
-
Get me off this damn page. Will be going to dinner in about thirty minutes from now.
-

Big fan of View from the Bridge, when it's done right. Haven't seen Mondays before.
-
Well, as they say:
If you can't stand the heat, take your laundry over to DR George's house.
-
Or something like that.

Not mine, mind you.

Don't cry for me Argentina....

It was a day. So glad I went to Leslie's funeral. It was sad and I hate going to funerals, but I was glad I was there with so many of our friends to support her family
-
Then I went from the funeral to the surgeon's office. Had a long wait and let them know I wasn't pleased the person who had a later appointment than I did got in 1/2 hour before I did, but it was all straightened out and I got over it. Just my big pet peeve
-
I do like the surgeon and we have scheduled the surgery for the 15th. It's same day surgery. My parents and brother are going to come down and will stay until I'm settled in at home. I have a friend coming over to watch a movie or hang out that night and another friend who will come over that night or the next day if I need her to. Mom and dad offered to spend the night, but for a number of reasons, I think it would be more difficult for me if they are here. My doctor also said if I am alone and have any concerns at all he'll give me his number and I can call him as many times as I want to. Pretty nice offer
-
Really enjoying the Miller play. Other people in the cast include Jerry Stiller, Harvey Keitel, J.D. Cannon, Tony Lo Bianco and George Grizzard. Paul Bogart directs.
It was part of the Broadway Theater Archive
-
Well, as they say:
If you can't stand the heat, take your laundry over to DR George's house.
It is rather comfortable, so do come over! :D
-
That is a very nice offer, Cillaliz.
Do you want people around you while you convalesce?
-
The two times I was in the hospital for several days, I wanted no one around me. Of course, too many people came to visit. It sort of felt like I had to entertain them. I much preferred using the time to catch up on some reading.
-
Am off to bed.
Good night, all.

I've only had one hospital surgery, to get my tonsils removed. I was in at 9:00 in the morning, and left by 1:00 pm, the same day.
-

Truthfully, no. But I had to have someone who was willing to come over before my mom feels ok going home that night. And so long as I have people I can call if I need help, I'll likely be alone
-
I was pretty sick when I had my tonsils out. I was 33 years old at the time
-
Time for bed
-
Back from a fun dinner - went to Boneyard Bistro, the barbecue jernt. I feel like I ate way too much, but I just had some pulled pork and tri-tip and no bread or anything.
-

I think I was 26 years old and I had no trouble whatsoever...except when I made the stupid decision to go out to dinner with my family and I chose to get nachos!
:o
WHAT WAS I THINKING??
-
Not mine, mind you.
That's a relief ;)
-
Oh, well...live and learn.
;)

I have the same pet peeve. I am glad the sevice was comforting.
-
Cilla, it is nice of the surgeon to make it easy to be reached. I like that people will be with you, just in case. I expect they will let you rest and entertain themselves.
-
I'm with Cilla. I prefer to be alone.
-
Just like Greta.

A nice square-round.

I have had plenty of surgeries; no more, please.

Earlier today, I got a text from a friend (the same friend who invited me to see "The Shining" last Friday) and he invited me to another movie tomorrow. He had an extra free ticket and offered it to me. Very nice!
-
No, it's not a date. He has a girlfriend...and even if he didn't, he's much too young. ;)
-
Anyway, we're going to see Love and Mercy (http://olympiafilmsociety.org/love-mercy/), a bio-pic about Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, tomorrow at 4:00 pm. It looks pretty good.
-
Since I have to leave work early to see the movie, I'd like to get to work early so that I don't use as much vacation time. So, I'm going to bed now.
-
Good night, Tom...and anyone else lurking out there in the dark! 8)
-
But before I go...Gratuitous Post #140!
:D
