Well, you've read the notes, the notes had an "aha" moment, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they just had an "aha" MOOment.
-
And the word of the day is: UMBRA!
-
Morning all.
That is all.
-
First after Ben!
-
Where is everybody?
-
Oh, it's not even 7 a.m. yet.
-
Wonderful to know Cilla is feeling better!
-
More vibes for Jrand and family.
-
Sell-that-property wishes to Larry.
-
The notes today detail one of the most wonderful things about the internet, creativity, in what is sure to be a successful concept and show.
-
Good morning, all! I am not happy.
I am not happy that I'm in what is an ugly mess financially at the moment, but i am really unhappy that at this moment I dislike intensely my two brothers for being the obstacles for this Ohio property's selling and wish nothing good for either of them.
-
I knew the property taxes would be rolling down the pike soon, but I am floored that my usually reliable sister-in-law Jo let us remain uninformed until the last moment; we usually get the notice on the amount due a month in advance; it's always an irritant but I at least know there's going to be a financial situation rolling down the pike. This latest one-week notice has wiped out my bank account and, since I cannot invoice for another week, I will see no income for at least two weeks. Color me pissed.
-
Enough of my misery. Have a good day, everyone.
-
DR Jane, thrilled for the good news from DS Craig.
-
Propert selling and employment vibes for elmore
-
We hosted (another) small dinner party last night. Something has to be done about this. :)
-
I am so glad that things are going well for Cilla. Except for the noise issue. I am shocked someone would post your address that is ridiculous.
-
Continued healing vibes for Cilla, Dan, Mike, Druxy, TCB and Jeanne
-
Cool "aha" Connection. I love how fast it is all coming together
-
I must be going. Laters
-
Very exciting about bk's new review. Will be interesting to watch as it develops.
-
I am working a half day this morning and then we are heading down to the DH's home town. Friday and Saturday are a milestone high school reunion for his class, and then Sunday he is leading a performance celebrating the 50th anniversary of the town's Summer Theater.
-
Since I hate parties in general and making small talk with people I don't know in particular, the reunion events will be a challenge.
The things we do for love!
-
We have had thunder and lightning rolling through here for about the past hour.
-
Good morning, all.
Strong health and wealth vibes for all. We can all use a glorious turn of fortune.
And coffee. Yes, we can use that, too.
-
Congrats to BK on the "AHA" moment.
I really love the immediate and enthusiastic show of support from all those people.
-
Maybe that should be the title of the show: "AHA!"
-
Happy Friday, Everybody!!!
-
Good morning.
-
TOD: Don't know yet.
Got a busy weekend starting up here. Tonight, my second ARSENIC AND OLD LACE in one season (different theater, different friends involved). Tomorrow morning, another of the good library sales and I'm not sure what's going on later. Sunday, something or other. My, I'm just full of information.
-
Is it just me, or do today's notes have a blue wash?
For that matter, is it just me, or do the notes ALWAYS have a blue wash?
-
Is it just me, or did that get us to Page Two?
-
Good morning, all.
Many vibes for all in want or need -- or just greedy.
-
TOD:
I'm headed out of town for the weekend, so I'll likely only be able to listen to the latest Stephen King, Finders Keepers, on CD during the drive. I'm on disc 6 of 12 and am really enjoying it. It's another detective novel and the suspense is building nicely.
-
Thanks DR CHAS SMITH - I shall PM you my address.
-
DR CILLA LIZ - FaceBook is such a stickler on other things....things that don't matter....and then they let things go on that should be actionable....UNLIKE!
-
DR ELMORE.....the last couple of weeks, I have had very good luck on scratch off tickets....if that means anything.
-
For all you Titanic fans out there, here's some historical footage of the ship leaving port in Belfast. Plus many other historical videos worth checking out from AP library, including kittens.

DR Jane, thrilled for the good news from DS Craig.
Thank you. He loves teaching and is looking forward to his own classroom.
-
I am so glad that things are going well for Cilla. Except for the noise issue. I am shocked someone would post your address that is ridiculous.
Or that they should do so because you disagree about the sound levels.
-
Look at what Ted Cruz did to Lindsey Graham....tweeted Graham's cell phone number. There are nasty, vicious people out there.
-
Interesting films DR JOHN G.
-
Friday morning greetings! Just got that in under the wire...
-
Very exciting about bk's new review. Will be interesting to watch as it develops.
Are you referring to The World of Henry Orient review
or the new music revue? (Wink wink nudge nudge say no more)
-
Good afternoon to all
-
Health and financial vibes to all that need them
-
Thanks DR CHAS SMITH - I shall PM you my address.
Ahem.
Disc is ready to go!
-
So what's the hold up?
-
I thought the notes had a teal push.
-
After another couple days (and nights) of having the windows open, we just closed up and turned the AC back on. Welcome to summer in SW Ohio!
-
Of course it's going to be hot and humid this weekend - it's the Greek Festival at our local church and it's the annual fish fry at Mom's retirement community. We're going to the Greek Fest for dinner with Rob and Mary Linda tonight, but skipping the fish fry.

We live in the town where Richard and DR Elmore graduated together and have only been to a couple of their reunions. In fact, we managed to find ourselves in France the weekend of their 50th last fall. When we do go, I enjoy them more than he does. My friend Chris, who's not from here either and whose husband graduated with Richard and DR Elmore, says the same thing.

Paul Williams' Happy Days: The Musical is being performed in town this weekend at a high school summer camp showcase. Sorry I'll be out of town, even though I think that's the least of Williams' work.

It is Friday in Oakland CA and it is moving much too slowly.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!

What type of introvert are you? Find out now:
http://blogs.scientificamerican.com/beautiful-minds/what-kind-of-introvert-are-you/
Social Introvert: You spend a lot of time by yourself—and you're completely okay with that. You are happy with the small group of friends that you have and you avoid large crowds like the plague.
-
I'm up - have been up several times - first around eight, then ten-thirty, then twelve-thiry - I got about nine hours of sleep all told. Must do stuff.
-
Well, this is interesting...Director Named for Film Remake of Oliver! (http://www.playbill.com/news/article/director-named-for-film-remake-of-oliver-354245) One sentence in particular sticks out:
Rights issues have yet to be resolved but the plan is to film in and around London beginning in early 2016.
They don't even have the rights, yet? Does it happen that way very often?
-
I went to my 10th year high school reunion, and I remembered why I didn't like many of these people.....
I am waiting for my 50th which will be in 2018.....if I'm still around, maybe some of THEM won't be.
-
Thank you DR CHAS SMITH, I shall haunt the mailbox.
-
I love going to the reunions. Because our class has extra luncheons throughout the year (we have only been able to go to a few of them) the class has stayed connected and enjoy each other more than we did in high school.
-
I am on my way out for some arsenic and some old lace.
-
Oliver = press agent getting people's names in the press.

Back from a jog. Annette Funicello's old house across from me, which has, for the entirety of the almost eleven years I've lived her, been covered in bushes and shrubs literally blocking any view of the front of the house, has suddenly had tree people there since yesterday and all that crap's been removed and now the house if visible. It's also completely empty - this means one of two things - the owner (s) have died and the house is going up for sale, or it's already been sold at auction and a tear down may be coming.

Wonderful to know Cilla is feeling better!
Thanks! I seriously haven't felt this good in years (or should that be well). Anyway, went to see the surgeon today. I really like him. Dr. Gupta is great. I took the photos he had given to my family for me and he walked me through the whole surgery and pointed out my other organs and said they all look great. That's nice to know.
The bottom line is I had chronic gall bladder disease and lots of gall stones. The appendix didn't look normal to him and he showed me what he saw in the photos, but the lab said it was ok so whatever on that one, glad it's gone. I haven't felt well in years. Not really sick but not well either. I blamed aging, stress, a million things, but never thought of my gallbladder. The nurse and Dr Gupta both told me that's common with gall bladder problems. Anyway, I feel 10 years younger. I can't remember the last time I could eat and not feel uncomfortable or bad. I can eat anything now. I have a ton of energy and have been cleared to start lifting more weight. Basically if it hurts - stop. And I don't have to go back. I'm cleared!

I'm glad I was able to delete it. Today I messaged he tv station that had the story posted with all the comments on Facebook and told them about the cyberbullying and the posting of my address. They asked the name and I gave it to them and they will be watching for his posts. Hopefully they will cut back on the cyber bullying

The things we do for love!
One of these days we'll have to coordinate ahead of time. I could get to your hubby's home town fairly easily as it's not far from my hometown. So if you're ever spending some time there, holiday time or something, maybe I could drive up and meet your hubby and have lunch or something.
-
DR CILLA LIZ - FaceBook is such a stickler on other things....things that don't matter....and then they let things go on that should be actionable....UNLIKE!
I didn't report him to facebook as I think they would have told him I reported him and I was able to delete the post after it was up only a couple minutes. I think reporting him to the local tv station who had the story he was commenting on may be more effective. They responded immediately that his actions were unacceptable and they will be monitoring him

After another couple days (and nights) of having the windows open, we just closed up and turned the AC back on. Welcome to summer in SW Ohio!
Our heat index I over 100 today. Whew! The new yard guys showed up, three of them! What takes me an hour to do took them about 15 minutes.

It's usually the people who still live there that don't go. At least that's true in my home town
-
Tonight's outdoor concert is Elvis Costello. If it wasn't 100+ heat index and the crowd didn't have to stand on cement during the concert, I may have actually gone to this one.
-
My doctor did tell me it was probably a good thing that I didn't work this week as it gave me time to heal. It's been the longest I've taken off in years and years and years, well I guess I did go to work two different days, and stopped several times to get the mail, but I think it's been great for me mentally to take the break. AND I have two more days before I go back to work

My friend Margo would be happy at this. She LOVES doing laundry. :D
-
I jogged around three o'clock - I can't tell you how close I came to continuing down to Ventura Blvd. and then down to where the footbridge is to get back here. Thankfully I didn't as there was a shooting on Ventura near Laurel Canyon - not much known - a homeless person perhaps in front of the Union Bank next to Chipotle firing shots in the air. Police arrived, he wouldn't lower or drop his weapon and they took him out. Lots of helicopters now (all news ASSES I'm sure) and Ventura is closed to Laurelgrove (the street to the east of me) and Laurel Canyon is closed up to Moorpark. Since I take Moorpark to the freeway I'll have to see if there are problems there - there shouldn't be when I leave in about forty minutes.
-
Opah!
I forgot to log out before we left fit dinner at the Greek festival. It was delicious!
-
Whew! BK, glad you didn't take the other jogging route
-
DR Cillaliz, congratulations on the good report from the surgeon. Don't overdo it this weekend!

And now, I'm off. My sister is hosting a garage sale for the Olympia PFLAG and I'm bringing some stuff to donate. But I have to go home first and get it, then I'll go over there. Then, I'll come home and have the rest of the evening and possibly tomorrow all to myself.
Be back later.

Thank you and congratulations on the excellent visit to the surgeon. I think it is great your surgeon removed your appendix while he was in there, one less thing to worry about.

The back splash is completed on our main kitchen wall. It still needs finishing and we aren't to touch the vent hood. It looks great and such a delight not to be looking at drywall.

It's bd enough trying to type with an onscreen keyboard and a stylus but the iPad self rcorrevting feature is driving me a bit bponkers
Yes, I sometimes find I'm going bponkers myself.
-
But not from some self-correcting feature.
-
I do it all by myself.
-
Mega vibes to DRs Dan M, Cilla, TCB, and Larry. Mike, too, if he needs them.
-
Sing, if you want to start a conversation at your party, just ask people about themselves. Most people love to talk about themselves. Of course, you may find you're bored to death, but that's another issue.
-
TCB, were you able to drive to your surgeries and to the post-op?
-
I haven't any news, except to say that the news I was expecting hasn't materialized. I wish it would. I blame the Heavens.
-
I received an email yesterday about some new condos in Culver City for $1.2 M. In Culver City! Absurd.
-
Speaking of condos, it there much more work to do on yours, Jane? I bet you'll be glad when everything is done.

I didn't realize until I was ready to leave my sister's that I had forgotten my wallet at home! I drove all the way there and all the way back without my driver's license.
SPOO!!

But there were no problems, so it's all good. :)

But thanks for the offer!
;)

George, tell Msrgo she's welcome here any time...I can keep her in laundry for weeks
I'm sure if you paid for her flight and all expenses, she'd be delighted to come over!

Back from 9 to 5 - what a dreadful musical it is.
-
Thank you.
Saw it once. Horrified.
-
TCB, were you able to drive to your surgeries and to the post-op?
I suppose you could drive yourself to the surgery, but you are required to have a driver to take you home. I don't know how other clinics do it, but I was required to bring my driver into the office, and she was required to sign paperwork verifying that she would drive me home.
