DR Ginny, I hope your eyes are doing better! I have some LM dish after my visit last Sunday.
Continued eye vibes for Ginny
I like weddings

Thanks, DR Elmore. The flashes I was experiencing on Wednesday have subsided, but there are still a lot of new floaty thingies that are quite annoying.
May I call you sometime today about the LM matter?
I'm afraid a comment I made was misunderstood: there is no damned For Sale sign on the property! It's no wonder my idiot brothers cannot sell the land. They do nothing. When I drove by to toss the three pennies, I noticed the land has no sign and it really, really, really pisses me off at their lackadaisical attitude.
Back from church someone else volunteered for coffeehouse and altar guild was covered so relieved of obligations I made a fast break for it.

I'm glad things are getting better. You didn't say anything about the problem on Wednesday.
As to LM, I'm pretty much home all day rearranging the space.
Thanks for the tip, DR Jane!

Have you had them before? I kept thinking something was flying in my face.

Yes, I've had floaters all my life, but it's the sudden onset of new ones that causes concern. At DR Elmore's gala dinner Wednesday, I kept thinking there was a bug flying around the room.

Dead Squirrel In the Hot Tub.
First world problems.
I think some reasons to have a wedding Thursday at 4pm would be: 1. probably cheaper, 2. easier to book a popular venue for a Thursday, 3. maybe they waited too late to book things and all the weekends were full.
Thanks for the tip, DR Jane!

Add me to the list of people that don't like to attend wedding receptions. I am happy for the couple, certainly. And they deserve their celebration with family and friends. But it all seems so forced, usually, with all of the prescribed "traditions." And I intensely dislike having to make small talk with people I don't know. The ceremony itself I usually don't mind.I agree. That describes how I feel pretty well.
Cintinued back vibes for John g
I'm not sure how to respond to that ;D
That's such a gorgeous photo - and view - DR Jane!!!

Hope the switch back to the flute choir works out for you, DR Cillaliz!

I do still want to play, so I sent a message to the flute choir I used to be in and they were thrilled I want to come back. I'm really looking forward to it. It may turn out to be a better fit for me now that I'm more busy at the office.

I used to have a relative that lived next to an apple orchard near the base of Mt. Hood.
That is a lovely photo, Jane

Or maybe I'm not if this is better :)
Is anyone watching Home Fires or Indian Summers?

We watched the first episode of Indian Summers. I'm not sure I want to continue.
Sorry you didn't have a bigger house, George, but I'm sure those who were there appreciated that the show went on...
I wonder if they've moved us to our new server home.
Good luck!
