Well, you've read the notes, the notes soothed both the savage breast and the savage beast, and now it is time for you to post until the savage cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: SABOT!
-
And now - Dino at the piano.
-
Continued from yesterday: I have to drive my friend to pick up his car today. I have to pick him up at his house, so I'll find out if his car was worked on, or if he's renting another car. :)
-
After he picks up his car, we'll probably will hang out for a bit, maybe get something to eat, but I'll definitely need to make some time to work on my lines. I haven't spent enough time on it, yet. ::)
-
Well, I need to get some sleep because I have to get up in the morning (fortunately, not too early) and go out into the wilds of Olympia and Lacey.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good night, George.
-
Tomorrow and Monday are my last gasp at learning my lines.
-
I have four out of five of my scenes down, so it is just my final denouncement of George that I still need to learn.
-
Mr. Potter certainly loves to talk.
-
But then, so do I.
-
Good night
-
Mr. Potter certainly loves to talk.
It feels like such a good part for you to show off your talents! He's really the one who drives the story, makes everything that's special about the story go, or so it seems from the film, doesn't it? Without him, it would be a slice of life story where everybody is content happy and nobody overcomes or learns anything or gets their wings, I think.
-
Must go read the notes!!!
-
Good afternoon, all.
-
I'm writing this from the airport in Istanbul.
-
Waiting for the flight to Atlanta and devouring The Guermantes Way.
-
Thanks for all the travel vibes.
-
Good morning!
-
I'm hoping DR elmore will be back.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Sunday morning greetings! Today is Richard's 70th birthday and we're all going to see NO, NO, NANNETTE at Wright State University this afternoon. We'd planned to go to church and lunch beforehand, but he's recovering from a stomach flare-up and decided to scale things back a bit.
-
Have a great afternoon at the show, DR Ginny.
-
This morning I wish for peace to reign on this site, and, because nothing should go without saying, for DR Elmore to take a breather if necessary, but to keep his arse right here where it belongs.

Thanks, DR ChasSmith! Tap dancing and ukuleles are just what we need right now...

I'm hoping DR elmore will be back.
Me, too...
-
This afternoon I have to (yes, I have to -- there are too many people I know in it to blow it off) sit through a Beauty and the Beast.
No ukuleles, but here's hoping I have a nice time anyway.
-
I could swear I had that Steinberg Planets, but it's not here and I guess I haven't seen it in quite a long time. Never heard the Stokowski. So who do I have? Solti. Levine. Previn. Have to give those a spin.
-
I really like Beauty and the Beast, btw. It's just kind of the last thing I need on my plate today.
-
Good morning.
-
Now all my business items are finished. I am going in search of butterflies today.
-
Happy Birthday, DR Fr. Richard!

Thanks for clarifying. I was baffled-lol

Have a good day, all!

Happy Birthday to Father Richard!
-
I'm up, I'm up - nine hours of sleep. Feeling a little clogged up, so I do hope that abates.
-
I'm in contact with elmore - he, like many, is simply angry about the world, which is fine, but this is, at least I try for it to be, a safe haven for everyone. I hope he'll be back.
-
elmore will be back, never fear.
-
elmore will be back, never fear.
Hooray! Thanks for letting us know, BK!
-
I guess I'll mosey on over somewhere to get some food.
-
Good afternoon
-
Home from church (have to go back later) - cleaned up the kitchen and put a chicken in the crockpot. Going to mop the floor. The 49ner game is on the TV and the dogs are on the porch.
Sometimes I wonder who I've become.
-
Safe haven, very very important. There are too few of them.
-
In fact, I'll take a safe haven from Beauty and the Beast, if you don't mind, thankyouverymuch.
It was good. And musically, very good. And I love the material. But you know what? Every one I've seen blends with all the others I've seen.
Oy!
-
You know what else? It's Manhattan time.
-
elmore will be back, never fear.
That's great to hear, BK!
-
We had a great time seeing NO, NO, NANETTE this afternoon. We'd never seen a show at Wright State, but will definitely go back.
-
Thank you to DRs George, Jane, and KevinH for the birthday wishes for Richard.
-
And a late from from me, DR Ginny. Here's to a wonderful year to DH Richard!
-

I am relieved you have heard back from him. I was worried. Thanks for letting us know.
-
And a late from from me, DR Ginny. Here's to a wonderful year to DH Richard!
Thanks, DR ChasSmith. He's a little freaked out now to be in his 8th decade...
-
We had a great time seeing NO, NO, NANETTE this afternoon. We'd never seen a show at Wright State, but will definitely go back.
Oh good :)
-
Page three? Really?
-
Watched an interesting documentary and may watch another.
-
Chicken in the crock pot needed more than 4 hours... so in the over it goes and I'm ordering Door Dash for dinner
-
We saw the Reacher movie to say and we're the only ones in the theater. Every time I whispered to Keith he replied in a loud voice 😃
-
Um, page three? REALLY?
-
I did watch another documentary, also interesting, but both suffer from directoritus.
-
I'm not sure how we're supposed to double the posts prior to midnight, which is more than a little irritating.
-
Good evening!
-
What the heck is going on here?
-
Or what the heck isn't going on here?
-
I hope and pray that our DR elmore decides to return.
-
This site wouldn't be the same without him.
-
Happy Birthday to DH Richard!
-
Feel better vibes to DH Richard!
-
Ginny, I am glad that you enjoyed NO, NO NANETTE.
-
Chas I am glad you enjoyed BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.
-
I also enjoy that show.
-
I have only seen a community theater production (and the cartoon).
-
I should have gone to see THE WIZARD OF OZ out at Lakewood Playhouse today.
-
But working on my lines was more important.
-
I ended up falling asleep this afternoon.
-
But I still worked them.
-
While I was awake that is.
-
Today was rain rain rain.
-
I considered going to get some KFC tonight, but it was to nasty to leave the apartment.
-
So, I settled for soup instead.
-
Not quite as filling, but I have enough fat on me.
-
Page four.
-
Four isn't that exciting at almost 9:30 at night.
-
But it beats the heck out of page three.
-
Tonight the Seattle Seahawks were on Sunday Night Football.
-
They were playing the New England Patriots.
-
This was the first time we had played them since they beat us in the Super Bowl, two years ago.
-
And the Seahawks won tonight!!
-
No Vixmom this evening.
-
Welcome 2 Guests.
-
Come on in, I need the help.
-
Page four? Really?
-
Almost finished choosing songs.
-
I've been dozing on and off since three this afternoon. Need some damn miracles around here.
-
Need page five around here.
-
elmore told me he just needs a day or two to himself.
-

You are correct. Mr. Potter is the reason for the conflict. He basically steals the money from Uncle Billy. And at the end, he doesn't get his comeuppance., except that everybody else has a Merry Christmas.
-
My friend, Tracy , is playing Ma Bailey in the show.
-
elmore told me he just needs a day or two to himself.
He is entitled to a couple of days.
-
I am entitled to a couple of days, too.
-
I don't know why, I just thought I would say that.
-
It was a post.
-
elmore will be back, never fear.
Hooray! Thanks for letting us know, BK!
Yes, thanks, BK!
-
And we certainly could use plenty of those.
-
Safe haven, very very important. There are too few of them.
Agreed! And HHW is the havenist! ;D
-
George!! You are home!
-
Tell us all about your day.
-
And I mean all about your day.
-
Tell us all about your day.
And I mean all about your day.
Well, I picked up my friend David to drive him to what turned out to be a Budget rental truck place. He had rented a moving van but since his wife wasn't with him, he had to leave his car there.
-
I think that she can drive, but I don't thing she likes to. Anyway, they're moving up to Seattle today, so he and I didn't go out to eat. We said our goodbyes (for now...he'll be back in town tomorrow), and we left.
-
Well...why wait?
-
FIVE!!
-
After I left the rental place, I went to the Lacey Fred Meyer.
-
I was looking to find a new Scrubbing Bubbles automatic shower sprayer cleaner because the one that I have hasn't been working properly lately. I haven't seen them recently at the Tumwater Fred Meyer, or any other local store. Lacey didn't gave one, either. :P
-
I did go to the clothing section and buy a shirt, a Christmas sweater, and a pair of shorts that were not only on clearance, but an ADDITIONAL 60% off! Score!!
-
After that, I went to the Mayan Restaurant (http://www.mayanmexican.com/lunch_menu1.htm) and had Huevos Rancheros with rice and beans. It was all quite good.
-
Today was rain rain rain.
We got lucky today and it didn't begin raining until after we returned home.
-
And the Seahawks won tonight!!
Congratulations.
-
elmore told me he just needs a day or two to himself.
Sometimes we all need quiet time.
-
Then I went to Target to see if they had the shower sprayer, and they didn't, either, but they did have four, count 'em, four 2-packs of the replacement bottles for the shower sprayers, and they were on sale buy-three-get-one-free! Score, again!
-

We would like him to but that he doesn't sends a better message.
-
My friend, Tracy , is playing Ma Bailey in the show.
That is nice for you when you know so few people in the cast.
-
I don't know why, I just thought I would say that.
;D
I think you said that because you have needed them in the past.
-
George, why don't you go online and look for the bathroom sprayer.
-
And I mean all about your day.
LOL
-
But working on my lines was more important.
After Target, I came home and spent several hours working on memorizing my lines, too.
-
Maybe even on ebay.
-
And the Seahawks won tonight!!
Congrats to the Seahawks!

I was thinking the same thing.

No, I thought his car was at a shop being worked on.

Yes, I did know that he was moving.

I have moved on to a piece of Mahler's. I should probably listen in order, but I hadn't uploaded anything but the fifth, sixth and ninth symphonies. I began with the fifth - of course, this man did not write short symphonies - I have to believe, in fact, that they are perhaps the longest symphonies ever. But hearing that first movement of the fifth reminded me instantly of why I was obsessed with most of his music. Such passion. Such melodies. Such amazing orchestrations and color. In the early days of CDs when I first got my taste of Mahler, the Bernstein recordings were not favorites at ALL. But this box set is from a couple of years ago and they've all been remastered beautifully and that sound is now quite beautiful and what a difference that makes.
-
Page five? Really?
-
Eating a couple of tiny Halloween-size pieces of licorice.
-
Had a Philly cheesesteak sandwich around two.
-
George, why don't you go online and look for the bathroom sprayer.
When I got home, I did look on-line. I paid $20-25 for the two that I bought new (the first one fell and broke ::) ), but now, you can't get one for less than $70...and one was as much as $150!
WTF?? :o
-
This page is moving right along.
-
Page five? Really?
-
Let's move it right along to page six.
-
Page six? Really?
-
You see, you see - miracles CAN happen.

Because they were discontinued.

Just forty-five minutes ago we were on page three. Really.

I also did some searching and found questions and comments on forums about where can people find the sprayer, and the Scrubbing Bubbles people answering that the sprayer was actually discontinued more than a year and a half ago! Who knew??

Yup. I had no idea.
-
However, what I did see at both Fred Meyer and Target today was a hand-held spray bottle of the shower cleaner spray. I went to a dollar store and bought an empty spray bottle and will just spray it myself from now on.

I remember years ago being at a friend's house and they had a spray bottle of the stuff. The automatic sprayer didn't exist then, and now it doesn't anymore.

Oh, at least, a year ago.

Time to switch computers.

I am STILL listening to the Mahler fifth and at just under seventy minutes, it isn't his longest.
-
Well, I need to go now and work on my lines again before I go to bed. I don't have rehearsal tomorrow night, so I can work on them then, too.
Good night. 8)
-
Bedtime for me.
