I first saw them "live" fifty-one years ago.
Continued good vibes to Jrand.
Good night, George. Have a good day at work.
John G - if you have a boat, will you name it the Sloop John G?
SNL has become increasingly vulgar, crude , biased and so blasphemous. Also not funny!!! No thanks!!!
It doesn't seem to matter what time I go to bed...or whether I take a melatonin before going to bed or a couple of hours after going to bed. I still wake up at 3 a.m. and do not fall back to sleep.
I continue to stay abed, but my mind is running all over the place.
It's most disconcerting.

Have you taken the melatonin at your 3 am waking?
Heard back from the authors of the musical, who loved the changes I wanted to make, so that gives me hope that when they see all the other little things we've done that they'll be fine. I know they really like me and know I would never make a change lightly if I didn't feel it were necessary.

Had a really fun work session with Kay Cole and John Boswell. I had what I thought was a brilliant idea for her opener - Kay was, of course, the original Maggie in A Chorus Line and she also was in Stop the World - I Want to Get Off with Anthony Newley. So, my idea was to announce her, and then John would start the famous A Chorus Line "One" vamp, Kay comes out but instead of launching into One she sings Once in a Lifetime but the accompaniment figures are all from One - it works amazingly well - John played through it and Kay and I were just tickled - we made some adjustments to it, but that is why I love arranging.
Well, I got an e-mail from Jane asking if I would post a picture...here it is!

This is a great picture!!
:D
Here is an interesting and completely non-political question - as we all know, using initials today is the "thing." LOL, LMAO, YMMV, ur - I don't like them at all. I know this is all because of instant messaging and texting, but when did using POTUS, FLOTUS, and SCOTUS become a thing? No one EVER EVER EVER used these initials when I was growing up - in fact, I can't remember them being used even two decades ago. I want the guilty party's name.

Back from a lovelier than lovely dinner with dear readers Jane (and her ever-lovin' Keith) and Jeanne. The food, I must say, was excellent - really good pastrami, decent kishka. I have another photo Jane posted on Facebook for inclusion in the notes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mega Health Vibes to DRs JRand66, TCB, Jeanne, and all! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Auditions (of course) last night. Nothing definite yet, but it's looking like we won't be able to cast that best worst show. Not without holding another audition and a miracle taking place.
TCB - I'm kind of shocked that some of that SNL material was on at 9:45 on the West coast! Seems even more questionable than some of the language Colbert was being targeted for.
DR Jeanne we were very pleased to finally meet you in person. You are as delightful and lovely in person as you are in HHW. 😊
Jane, when are you coming home?
I wondered if you were leaving that quickly.
Thank you, Jane. The pleasure was mine.
Thank you DR George for posting the first photo.
Today was another beautiful day in T-town. 83 degrees here, 85 degrees for George.
I deleted one of my posts this evening.
