So, you have tomorrow morning tech, and then nothing until opening night on Thursday?

Yup. This has been an interesting, and a very different, experience.

It certainly sounds like it. How are ticket sales going?
Has Ask BK Day moved?
Oh Elmore not again...
Larry, hope all will be OK.
Has Ask BK Day moved?
I say we Ask BK anyway, like obnoxious little schoolchildren, and see what happens. :D
Congratulations on the book, Fred.
This does not bode well for the rest of the day.
Super duper Val just showed up with my printer and it's now up and running. He said he was going to bring it up last night but it was too late.
Congratulations on the book, Fred.

I'll start: Ask BK: Bruce, how long are you going to milk the 4th of July excuse for not knowing what day it is :-)
I have my phone set to "do not disturb" during the night.
TOD:
My favorite classes in high school were Baking and Typing. My favorite classes in college were Criminal Justice and Behavior Disorders.
I chose UC-Irvine because it was the only university with a Dance department that claimed not to emphasize modern dance, and I had never taken a modern dance class. But while there, I completely fell in love with modern dance, over ballet or jazz.
I have my phone set to "do not disturb" during the night.
I wish I could do that...
Congratulations on the book, Fred.
Ditto!

It begins early too, at 9:00. I usually look for messages before going to bed.

Maybe when I'm no longer Mom's "first responder."
Turns out one of Dad's biggest problems was that he was taking one of his meds incorrectly and an apparent side effect (one that's being debated) is spells of dementia.
I spent two hours on the telephone this morning "signing up" for my retirement health care and prescription plans. Both are through AARP. Because I am moving out of state, my County health care plan (with Kaiser) is not transferrable. The retirement association gave me a number to call to sign up with plans that will benefit me in Johnston SC. They are giving me a generous monthly stipend to cover the costs. My plans will use less than half of the stipend. Of course, I'm in the early experimentation stages of the plan and it may be adjusted annually. Happily, I also have VA, so I'm not too worried about things given the tenuous nature of health coverage issues today.

I am glad that was figured out. Too often meds are a major contributor. I hope this adjustment continues to show improvement.
Has anyone figured out a better system to make sure he takes his meds correctly?
COPING VIBES FOR DR JOHN!
DR John, I gather pill boxes and/or charts don't work. I realize the diabetes makes it more complicated. Is it possible to have a team of people, each with a time & medication assigned, to call with a reminder and stay on the phone until it is taken?

I think some form of home health care is what we're going to end up with. It's really complicated.
DR ELMORE this should be the last day of such disruptions....I hope so, too.
We went to the vet to pick up the special shampoo that had been ordered, only to find a sign saying starting today....they close at 1 p.m. on Wednesday....we were there at 1:05.
And thank you, all. You're an excellent support team.
Super duper Val just showed up with my printer and it's now up and running. He said he was going to bring it up last night but it was too late.
LOL! I just got an email from eBay with this subject heading: Larry, we want to help you play that funky music
Well, I need to go to sleep now so that I can get to rehearsal on time. It'll be our final dress rehearsal, then we open on Thursday. :o
;D
I was sleeping soundly until my cell phone rang at 4:00zm. It was a text from my bank inquiring about the fact that my account was overdrawn. Well, I'm been hacked and my debit card stolen.
The omens for today being really lousy continue. I walked to my bank to deposit dome money into my overdrawn account before I was stuck with a $35.00 overdraft fee, only to find when I reached the bank that bot ATMs were down. I called the bank at once to complain, and the nice lady on the phone said she would mark my account not to be charged. Well, we'll see.

It's a strip mall DR JANE and no way to get to the back door easily. There were no cars in the parking lot in front of the office, which I thought was strange.
Dad apparently is having a better morning than he had yesterday.
I have my phone set to "do not disturb" during the night.
I wish I could do that...
Re: Today's subject "The Neglected Colon"
A meme has been going around Facebook. It's a tad bit yucky, but it's funny inasmuch as it highlights the importance of correct spelling:

I wonder how many folks remember THIS VIDEO/SONG (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyzih1w9iyM).
I remember this playing during sign-ons and sign-offs on TV back in the 1950s!!!
John we started out with a home health aide service where they kept rotating the help... Some of whom were worse than no help at all. When we found one that was consistently god we persuaded her to leave the agency and come work full time
Laura, did you get your haboob?
Yeah. Haboobs are exciting, but they are not beneficial. Unless rain follows.

The new parody book, 21st Century Oldies, volume 4 is up on Amazon. The book was already locked before the "Mr. Goldstone" story broke, so [for the moment] that lyric was a HHW exclusive. :)

I should be getting my stash of copies in a week or so. If anyone on HHW wants a free copy, just PM me your address.
Break a leg to DR George and cast!
I really enjoyed Falsettos. No, it's not the best-written show, but the cast was excellent. I especially liked Stephanie J. Block as Trina.
Best of all, though, was the way it was filmed. No visible microphones, no odd camera shots. Good closeups. It felt very well thought out.

Last time I looked, Seattle was the closest place to see it.
