This morning I shall copy new reed and violin parts for "the number," assemble the books, assemble tomorrow's work kit, and close shop on the 2017 NYMF.
I am glad everyone had a good yesterday - wishing you all a joyous today
After a cup of coffee I'm going to go up to the big area flea market and do a walk-through and see what kind of fleas people are selling these days.
I have showered washed my hair and had a cup of coffee (with Baileys brown sugar vanilla creamer, Chas) now I must blow dry my hair and get me to the church on time

I hope they are paying you for all the extra orchestrations due to key changes

One way to get even with the universe would be to write as many songs as possible in C-flat -- and make sure they call for plenty of accidentals. The few times I've encountered this myself can best be described as traumatic, and that's putting a happy face on it.

The curse of Finale transposing is that you need to know how to edit it. In the transposed copt of the song I was sent on Friday, one 32 bar section was in C-sharp! I had to transpose it myself to D-flat since the clarinet would have to play in E-flat, not D-sharp.
finished the Wouk memoir. I like his voice. Will have to look for a couple of lesser-known works that sounded intriguing. Of course, when I finish the half-dozen books I'm reading now.

Yes! Keys, accidentals, etc., are a huge challenge when it comes to music software. And it's disheartening the number of times you'll come across things, both large and small, that should have been caught and fixed before ever seeing the light of day.

I hope reading it will be as enjoyable. From your description I would like to hear this one. Maybe I can find a clip of it, just to hear his voice before I begin reading.

Who said everyone had a good yesterday?

Wouk reads the prologue and epilogue.
Sunday morning greetings! Richard and the upstairs Palmers are at their respective churches and I'm home with the cat. I had every intention of going with Richard today until he decided yesterday to go directly from church to a shape-note sing afterwards. It's way out in the country with nowhere interesting for me to go. Being in the vicinity of shape-noters makes my ear buzz.
Vixdad and I just enjoyed a quick breakfast of sausage and toasted onion bagels
Backbeard is frozen. Call it Birdseye!
I am watching A TREE GROWS IN BROOKLYN!!! Love this sad, yet hopeful, endearing film!!!
I wonder: is my cousin's husband automatically my cousin (by their marriage) also?

That one always makes me tear up.

I'd read that Andrew Lloyd Webber loves the key of D-flat.
Chas Meat Market in San Antonio is now offering an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ buffet.
Any relation, Mr. Smith?
I wonder: is my cousin's husband automatically my cousin (by their marriage) also?
I've always referred to my cousin and his wife, but maybe I'm just anal retentive. ::)
;)
My friend Joseph is trying this restaurant out today.

Back from the talkback, which was lively. I was told there were eleven people booked for today. When I arrived at the end of the play I was rather surprised to find over seventy. I'm bored of these people.

I'd love to see a Mariners game if I ever get out there. I've seen many games on the east coast, but never west of the Mississippi.
Keeping it simple. Watermelon, strawberries and blueberries

I'm still not home. The baseball game was pretty good! They won against the New York Mets, 9-1!
