Well, you've read the notes, the notes were neither liked nor disliked, and now it is time for you to post until the neither liked nor disliked cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: SKAIL!
-
Gratuitous Post #2!
-
;)
-
Topic of the Day: going by THIS LIST (https://www.pixar.com/feature-films-launch#feature-films-launch-main), I haven't seen any of the "Cars" movies, "Ratatouille," "Monsters University," of "The Good Dinosaur." I've seen all the others, and I've loved most of them except "Finding Dory" and "Inside Out." Those two were good, but I didn't care for them as much as the rest of them.
-
And now, I'm off to bed.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all!
-
DR Ginny, I had a dream last night that you and I were traveling in a NY-OH mashup. I was driving on Route 4 and suddenly we were on I-75. You were asleep and Annabelle and Thatch were in the back. Then we were in New York State around Albany and we stopped in this large bookstore for directions. I wanted to go to a publishers address in Hudson so we used time at the store to find an atlas or NY road map. Then I got lost and we ended up in someone's driveway. Then the cats woke me.
-
I will finish the second edits of Act One today and maybe get onto the new Act One vocal score.
-
My friend Jim Vivyan called me last night. He was still at Page's apartment waiting for the funeral home to remove the body. He discovered his body yesterday afternoon. He said that he and a few mutual friends had gone to Page's apartment for a Tony party and Page was feeling so poorly he spent most of the time lying on his bed. Everyone urged him to go to the ER and he said he would go on Monday. Jim was feeling guilty that they didn't force him to go on Sunday night.
-
More coffee.
-
Horrible about your friend, DR Elmore. Very sorry to hear that.
-
And good morning, all.
The workers are back at it.
-
The roof and attic reframing was well underway yesterday, and they said they expect to have that completed today so that the house is again protected from the elements. There's a chance of some rain tomorrow, a fine motivation.
-
As a very general comment, I don't think I've seen a Pixar movie I didn't actually like. But I also haven't seen all of them, or at least the more recent ones. Favorites, just off the top of my head, and without checking against a list of them, would be UP and the TOY STORY ones.

I know it will be a relief to have it fixed.

I enjoyed the David Cassidy documentary on A/E last night.....it was sad....and it didn't make me want to buy the CD....but is was interesting.

Tuesday afternoon greetings!

That's a doozy, DR Elmore, but better that the dream I had about, for some reason, having an appointment with Mr. Trump and the private elevator that took me there.
-
I had a long coffee visit with my friend Rebecca this morning. We hadn't been able to do that for about a month and she's dealing with some major health issues of her husband's and the death last week of her professional mentor. Louise was almost 97 and had had Alzheimer's for a long time, but it's still hard.
-
DR Elmore's dream was indeed a doozy, and similar in some respects to a lot of my dreams.
As soon as I was wide enough awake this morning, I began trying to figure out what my dream had been. It felt like it had been a pretty solid one, but it has yet to show itself to me.
-
I didn't see the documentary on David C. because I don't have a way to watch it - hopefully it will end up online somewhere.
-
Back from some chicken tenders and picking up packages.
-
Phlegm really seems to be breaking up today, which is good - I took a Mucinex-D last night before bed and I think that helped. I also decided not to go to this thing tonight - just really don't want to use my voice for another couple of days until it's back to normal strength.
-
I'm sure the David Doc will be online.....
Although you can only watch local stations MR BK you might consider buying an indoor antenna....you can local news and weather and other things.....like network television....
-
Off to another added performance of ANNIE....on top of everything else.....
-
Listening to the final Pete Jolly AVA album, Hello, Jolly - very interesting - good songs and Pete with an orchestra, which took some getting used to - don't know why since I love jazz with orchestras, but I'm enjoying it the second time through.
-
I did not watch the David documentary. I read a little of his confession and can understand why he would say he had dementia to hide the fact he was drinking.
-

I just realized that today's date is 6-12-18 (6x1 then 6x12 then 6x3).
-
Just had to share.
-
:)
-
I must say I'm really enjoying Delius. Very pastoral. I'm all for pastoral. Listening to a wonderful and inexpensive EMI 2-CD set conducted by Barbirolli - who's a wonderful conductor.
-
Should have the final chart to proof this night, and then the track on Thursday. Then all that's left are two scene change vocals which are actually just lifts from the first number - easy to do.
-
Then hopefully my voice will be full strength by next Tuesday and I can sing everything there is to sing.
-
Condolences, Larry, on the loss of your friend.
-
Happy 90th birthday, Mr. Sherman. You've brought us all so much joy, and thanks for that!
-
As a Tony show follow-up, at 8:22 in this video is one of my favorite TV-star presenter moments: Ed Asner sings the nominees for Best Actress in a Musical (Madeline Kahn, Eartha Kitt, and Liza Minnelli kind of react to his singing their names, Frances Sternhagen I guess wasn't there since her show had closed already and she probably had another job at that point.
Robert Guillaume introduces big song from THE ACT, then at 8:22: Ed Asner sings the nominees, then Liza's speech

-
Should "Liza's speech" have had a spoiler warning, or did everyone who cares about that know she won that year?
-
Condolences to elmore.
-
What is this page two malarky?
-
We enjoyed a lovely evening walk before the temps drop again tomorrow.
-
I needed an extra walk since I didn't get much exercise. All I did this morning was dust and clean the frig, mostly using my left arm as my right shoulder is not cooperating today.
-
I'm in need of an extra page.
-
Whew!
-
Page three? Really?
-
I think I'll watch something whilst relaxing. It's a little warm in the home environment but the air conditioning would not be good for me.
-
Well, it's time for me to go. I need make a Costco run for some gas and some other things.
Be back later.
-
A lull.
-
::)
-
;)
-
I went to Costco after work.
-
My friend Margo asked it I could get a lei for her to give to her youngest daughter.
-
She (the daughter) is graduating from high school.
-
While there, I had their new cheeseburger at the deli.
-
Again, I didn't love it.
-
It's not bad at all, it just costs a little too much and has way too many calories for one burger...1030!
-
I guess with that many calories, it a VERY GOOD thing that I don't love them.
-
;D
-
I'm now watching America's Got Talent.
-
My friend Margo asked it I could get a lei for her to give to her youngest daughter.
I didn't know they sell them at Costco.
-
My friend Margo asked it I could get a lei for her to give to her youngest daughter.
I didn't know they sell them at Costco.
I didn't, either. I guess they're only available for a very limited time.
-
Tonight we watched a very fun movie, GAME NIGHT.
-
Bruce needs to rest his voice and I need to rest my shoulder.
'night
-
Good night, Jane.
-
So this is funny (not "ha ha" funny)...
-
I'm now watching last night's Late Night with Seth Meyers and Jake Tapper is the first guest.
-
They started talking about 45's trip and meeting with Kim Jong Un.
-
Seth and Jake were speculating on what could be happening, because they taped the episode in the afternoon before any news came out about the meeting.
-
And the episode was interrupted by an "NBC News Special Report" with Lester Holt with news on the meeting that Seth and Jake were just speculating about.
-
And basically, 45 legitimized Kim Jong Un (he can't say enough good things about Kim...WTH?) and 45 essentially got nothing out of it. :P
-
And now...
-
...since we're so close...
-
PAGE FOUR DANCE!!
-
MOST fortunately, the episode on On Demand is NOT interrupted.
-
WHEW!
-
I can watch the rest of Jake Tapper's interview AND Jane Krakowski's segment.
-
Good evening.
-
Page 4? Really?
-
What does 45 mean?
-
I slept off and on all day.
-
As that kind of day.
-
I had Freshly’s roasted turkey.
-
The turkey was really good.
-
The green beans were okay.
-
But the dressing was nasty!
-
I would not order that again.
-
Actually, I don’t think I will be buying any more dinners from them.
-
With the initial discount the price was reasonable.
-
But, at full price, I don’t think so.
-
I can get some frozen dinners that have a reasonable calorie count, but are more flavorful at a much lower price.
-
I have tried Weight Watcher’s and they aren’t bad, but there are some other brands that I will try.
-
Of course if I had been a better boy, and skipped the Ben & Jerry’s tonight, I would feel better about myself.
-
But, they were calling my name!
-
Tomorrow there is no old actor’s lunch.
-
So, instead Sharry and I will be dining at Red Robin.
-
There are other places that I prefer, but Sharry really likes Red Robin.
-
Still page 4!
-
Not good.
-
What does 45 mean?
Some people refer to the prez as 45 so that his name isn't picked up in interweb searches.
-
I can get some frozen dinners that have a reasonable calorie count, but are more flavorful at a much lower price.
Nice. "...more flavorful at a much lower price" is a good thing.
-
But, they were calling my name!
Sometimes, you just gotta answer the call.
-
There are other places that I prefer, but Sharry really likes Red Robin.
I do too.
-
5!!!!!

F.Y.I.
On Thursday, DR Jane, DR George, DR FJL, and myself will be unavailable all evening. Somebody had better figure out how they are going to fill up these pages with posts that night.
-
Just a friendly reminder!!

CAN'T WAIT!! :D
-
George, why do keep buying the burgers if they aren’t that good, and are expensive?
-
You could buy two hot dogs, and still have change.
-
Man a Costco hot dog sure sounds good right now.
-
I am not hungry, but it still sounds good.
-
George, why do keep buying the burgers if they aren’t that good, and are expensive?
I just wanted to really make sure that I gave it a chance. I did, and I'm done with it. Never again.
-
You could buy two hot dogs, and still have change.
True, very true.
-
I guess I am going to have to put the AC vent in my window before this weekend.
-
They are saying 84 degrees for Father’s Day.
-
They are saying 84 degrees for Father’s Day.
Yikes! :o
-
Nicky has been avoiding the bedroom tonight, so I guess that is a hint.
-
According to the weather app on my tablet, it's going to get up to 78° on Saturday. That night, I'm going to see Kathy Griffin at the Moore Theatre in Seattle!
-
Funny, I typed Father’s Day correctly, but spellcheck popped up with the exact same spelling.
-
I'm really looking forward to finally seeing her live!

Happy (now Belated) Birthday wishes to Richard Sherman!
