And I didn't know that there was a Big Tom's on Yelm Highway.
From last night: I've never ordered from Grubhub. I don't know how it works. Is it like Uber Eats?
And I didn't know that there was a Big Tom's on Yelm Highway.

No, I meant there was a small independent drive-in on the Yelm Highway, not a Big Tom’s.

Ahh...I misunderstood. What's the drive-in?
BK, that's a very nice review for your book!

I have no idea. My friend, Diane, goes there and says the food is really good. They are only open certain months of the year.
Gosh, I didn’t eat yesterday.

Well, Tom, your mission is to find out what it is!
Gosh, I didn’t eat yesterday.
What?? :o

I SAID, “I DIDN’T EAT YESTERDAY!”
Good night,GeorgieGeorge.
A bath gadget sounds interesting. Not that I take baths, but in the past I would just not leave the bathroom while the water was filling. That way I could never forget.
And BK, why do you tease about a soundtrack title that's not going to be released until next May?? That's just mean.
;)
DR Ginny, have you ever watched The Great British Baking Show? The wonderful 80 year-old Mary Berry reminds me physically of Loyce Martin.
So, yesterday it got to the mid-80s here. Today we’re looking at 92. Tomorrow’s the big one, at 97, then back to low 90s for a couple of days till this thing has run its course.
You can probably add a few degrees to those for NYC.
Brutal.
Next Saturday at this time I will be heading into NYC to see Ginny, Ri hard, Elmore and Chas...is anyone else joining us?
Should I get there earlier and do brunch again?
In 45 minutes I will leave for my knee injection.

I know what you mean, Jennifer. And even if I'm rinsing something out in the bathroom sink, I never trusted myself to leave it running while I left the room, like if the phone rang or something, I'd turn the water off before walking out. That was even when I was in my 20's!
I had a nice hour and a half nap.
Jane, I saw my therapist, Erik, yesterday and asked him what he knew about CBD (cannabis) oil. He said that it should be fine, but that cannabis can change the DNA of one's offspring. I had never heard that. As I don't plan to have any children it won't affect me. My acupuncturist, who is also a nutritionist, doesn't seem to have any objections to it.
There are ALWAYS delays.
Nick seems to be fine, although I am not too sure he is liking the twice a day pain medicine.

Let's make a plan!
I thought there was some talk about going out for Mexican after the show...

I'll be traveling a large part of next week. I had to get to Florida at some point soon, and was happily able to time it so I'll be able to spend some time with my mom on her 90th birthday on Tuesday the 3rd. It turns out mom's booked up until 2:00 (what can I say, she's just busy), so i'll either do some of the work I need to do before that, or maybe spend time with my dad until mom gets home a little after 2, or both.
Then, a young cousin in Dallas, Pennsylvania turns 1 and there's a party on Saturday morning, so I'm thinking I'll go and stay over Friday night rather than take the bus early Saturday morning. When I was younger, I'd have done it back and forth in a day, but dealing with the Port Authority crowds and lines for the bus can be stressful, in a way that the trains from Penn Station (like going to Baltimore or D.C.) almost never are. The train doesn't go to Dallas, PA, unfortunately.
I'll be in New York Thursday, though, so i should be able to do the really important things like ketchup on HHW. :)
FJL - Brent Barrett is doing I Wanna Be Like You in the Sherman event - he does it great, too. And the guy who's doing it in the Kritzerland show, Roger Befeler, is also a leading man. If Brent likes the bit in the middle, we'll keep it for the event, if not, not. The big thing we're doing is the new additional verse Richard wrote for the live-action movie of The Jungle Book, that Chris Walken sang.
Yo didn’t get to see any of the men?

We cuddled up together.
Grubhub vs Uber Eats:
I've never used Uber Eats, but I have used Grubhub a few times. GH has both a delivery fee and a minimum, both of which vary from eatery to eatery. I found an Indian restaurant nearby that has no delivery fee and a relatively low minimum. They are also happy to deliver without the GH intervention, so that's what I now do--I just order from their online site.
George, is this how Uber Eats works, too?
I don't know from Grubhub or Uber Eats. Why is this desirable?
