Good night, George. Thank you again for coming up to see our play reading.
I have my eye appointment this afternoon.
All the actors were good in their roles. Tom was his usual excellent self. :D
I will be going through the run of pictures I snapped of Thatch yesterday. I think I got little or nothing of Her Highness this time, but Thatch was in fine fettle and I was snapping away so I hope a few shots will be worthy.
Casting vibes for MR BK.
I have my eye appointment this afternoon.
George, regarding last night's play: One thing you might want to consider is that, during rhearsals, half of the cast believed that everything after the intermission (Peter Pan and the scene with Dad) takes place after Ann has died. Micheal didn't want to play it that way. As I said, we were split 50/50 on that point. I think it makes more sense in some ways. Certainly, it makes my line, "Of course I will. I have been here all along." make more sense that way. In fact, after the thinking about it last night before I fell asleep, I think I might have changed my vote over to the group that believes she was dead. Worth thinking about.
Happy Birthday to our wonderful and delightful DR Laura!
A Very Happy Birthday to DR Laura!! :D

Yesterday DR Elmore and I somehow got on the subject of a show that I didn't know, but I thought I might have the CD. As it turns out, I didn't, but a friend has one he doesn't need and is sending it to me
It's an old Varese release of BK's called Little By Little. I always like learning about small shows, because you never know when you can use one. It calls for a cast of three, and a piano. DR Elmore says the music is good. I'll enjoy listening to it, and perhaps putting it in my "back pocket".

Around 11:00 last night, one of the cats jumped onto my bed, left one of their catnip toys for me, and jumped off. That's a token of love.
Speaking of woks, I’ve been planning on resuming an old daily regimen of taking one every day, and that could start today. Generally, these consist of a mile down the road and, perhaps coincidentally, a mile back.

That was a nice picture DR GEORGE posted yesterday....I didn't know there was a Les Schwan's Tire Center in Tacoma.....
Great sky last night George.
I have my eye appointment this afternoon.
Good vibes!
Power just went off - for literally one second - clocks are all fine, but of course the computer shut down, the modem shut down, the printer shut down, and the router shut down. Just took ten minutes to get the computer back up and running.

Nice score. Haven’t heard it in a while. Will have to dig it up.
So we don't have to feel bad about not being invited to their wedding.

I've been telling myself to do that for YEARS! ::)

Little by Little is fun - not great, but fun. Brad Ross is very talented and the lyricists were good.
George - The author of "Red" is also the bookwriter of the stage version of "Moulin Rouge."

I didn't know that.
Okay, it's time.

BK mentioned this on Facebook recently. Terrible news. In this small article they speak of a "remodel". Lord save us from that. Of course it seems like that's a cover story no one has much faith in anyway.
But if that were really the case... I looked at the photos on their website. They had already long ago updated the Olde English look with the red leatherette wing chairs and such, while keeping the basic character of the place, and I was pleased with what I saw. The jernt still looked warm and welcoming to these eyes. So, seriously, any "remodel" now would more than likely kill it.
.
DR ChasSmith, you've given me a great photo for the blog!

Well, as it turned out, stuff happened and I didn’t take my wok today.
Hi, DR Ginny. You're right. How are your crafts coming along?

TOD:
I have a two-day dance workshop this week and am ushering for Andre Watts with the symphony. If I have time, I’ll try to finish Gunfight at the OK Corral. I’ve been enjoying the studio cast recording of Cry Baby lately.

As expected regarding Tom but how was Bogart ;)

Does Sharry agree with Micheal? Not that it matters, just curious.

Bogart ended up not performing in the production. We could not find a handler to stay backstage with Bogart until it was time for his big entrance.
5 ! ! ! ! !
Not a great quality video, but a favorite Mary Tyler Moore show moment about the number 5
