Today is the day before my sister's birthday.  Tomorrow, we're going to the Falls Terrace Restaurant (http://www.fallsterrace.com) for a late lunch birthday celebration.  It's pricey, but good.

The sun is shining today.

Tonight is our LAST rehearsal....tomorrow night we open - therefore we are ready.

I love working with an orchestra....it sounds great!!!  And there are some very talented kids in the show....and some others....

Not sure if I will show up in costume in any of the production photos...but time will tell.

I wanted to have another heartbeat and voice in the house....but a dog or cat was a bit more than I was ready for....so here he is.  I looked at all of the parakeets in the cage - and he kept his eye on me the entire time....so he picked ME!

The online site said that they were out of the birdcage I wanted....the Tudor....but there it was on the shelf....regular $54.99 on sale for $27.50....

He has a basketball goal with a mirror, a hanging honey treet, a cuttle bone. and a bell toy....so he is all set.

He was being very quiet and sitting in the corner, so I downloaded the audio of bunch of parakeets and am playing it on my CD player....he is singing along and swinging on his swing....so I think he just missed ALL the other birds.....

My original meeting was cancelled, but when I came in today, there was a notice that we were having another meeting, so I went to that.  Fortunately, it was just an informational meeting that only took about 10 minutes.

Yesterday I managed to stop at the salad bar that my acupuncturist told me about last week. They have an extensive salad bar, a sandwich bar, a juice bar, and a soup bar, plus a small green grocer. It's a nice little store. It won't take the place of my favorite food store with the almond croissants, but it's good and it's very close by.

AND, the salad bar had chocolate mousse! VEGAN chocolate mousse! I've had to-die-for chocolate mousse before, but never a vegan version. This was definitely to die for. Yum.

Bruce, I'm glad you vetoed the keto. I don't think it's a very healthy diet. Cut out the sweets and simple carbs and you'll lose weight.

Watching a rather painful movie called The Lady in Question. It was the first pairing of Rita Hayworth and Glenn Ford, but the star is Brian Aherne. Everyone is supposed to be French, but his accent is more Irish than anything. And the script, based on a French film, is rather contrived.
